Lumicor Sheet
Lumicor® blends the versatility of high performance resins with the vast world of decorative materials to bring light, texture and color to enhance any environment. Its unique decorative appearance is the result of a patented process that incorporates interesting core elements within clear resins. Lumicor® can be used in an endless variety of vertical, horizontal, and 3-dimensional applications including; furniture, wall partitions, countertops, cabinet doors, sinks, displays, light fixtures, ceiling tiles, shower doors, office relites, signs and shelving. Because Lumicor is made with high performance resins, it has excellent clarity, outstanding UV resistance and is easy to fabricate. It can be cut, drilled, routed, bonded, sanded and thermoformed using standard techniques. Furthermore, Lumicor is renewable. Surface scratches are easily removed using standard polishing discs to renew the finish to a matte or high gloss.

Nylon MD Sheets & Rods - Cast
Nylon® MD (Cast 6) is a nylon and molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) composition designed to improve the mechanical, thermal and bearing properties to Type 6 Nylon while maintaining its basic electrical and chemical characteristics. Cast Nylon MD is more cost efficient than extruded Nylon MD when it comes to production of large parts. The casting process allows for massive sheets up to 60" x 120", Rods up to 24" dia, Tubes up to 55" diameter, and even Near-net Shapes for the production of large, "hollowed-out" parts that would otherwise require heavy machining and waste.
Through compounding, finely divided particles impart extra lubricity to this nylon, permitting Nylon MD parts to operate with little or no lubrication. This makes it especially suited to applications where external lubrication is impractical, contaminating or difficult to maintain. The added lubricity also contributes dramatically to component service life, making Nylon MD a very cost-efficient choice. PTFE Sheet & Rod (Virgin Grade)
PTFE is a fluoropolymer that exhibits astonishing chemical resistance and ultra high-purity. Self-lubricating and with a low friction coefficient, PTFE sheets and rods are ideally suited for the manufacture of high-temperature seals, insulators and bearings used in semiconductor, aerospace & chemical processing industries. PTFE's low coefficient of friction makes it suitable for applications where sliding action of parts is needed: such as plain bearings, gears, and slide plates. In these applications, it performs significantly better than nylon and acetal; and is comparable to UHMW. PTFE however can be used over a far wider temperature range than these materials; -100°F to +400°F (-73°C to 204°C) and offers superior electrical insulation properties. Although its' mechanical properties are low compared to other engineering plastics, those properties can be enhanced through the use of additives such as Carbon, Graphite, Bronze, and Glass Fiber. Phenolic - Grade C Canvas Sheets
Phenolic Canvas Grade C (machining grade) sheets for structural and mechanical applications. This laminated product utilizes a canvas base and phenolic resin binder. Grade C & CE canvas phenolic are made from a medium weave cotton cloth fabric and mixed with phenolic resins to provide good wear resistance, low moisture absorption, and good mechanical strength at economical cost.
Canvas-based phenolics are used for structural supports, piston rings, gears, spacers, and bearing surfaces.

PVC-350™ (Bending Grade) - Static Dissipative Plastic Sheet
PVC-350™ is a plastic sheet product designed to control static electricity for a wide range of end uses. It is a high quality polyvinyl chloride sheet which has been surfaced with SciCron Technologies proprietary, clear, C-350™ static dissipative surfacing. This unique technology prevents charge generation on the sheet surfaces, thereby controlling particulate attraction and preventing electrostatic discharge (ESD) events. This performance is permanent and totally independent of humidity. PVC-350 offers exceptional design versatility since it fabricates simply, is light in weight and is available in large sheet sizes. It also exhibits excellent chemical resistance, plus superior flame spread and bending characteristics.
Applications
PVC-350 resists tribocharging under all circumstances and cannot generate a charge when properly grounded. This makes it ideal for use in manufacturing and assembly operations for charge sensitive electronic components where it can help prevent both immediate and latent ESD caused defects. Since it resists charge build-up it does not attract contaminants, so it can also help prevent contamination-related rejects in ultra-clean manufacturing operations. Consequently, it is suitable for use in the semi-conductor, electronic, and micro-manufacturing industries. Typical applications include contoured panels and fabri-cated items which require heat bending, such as; covers, windows, doors, and access panels for electronic equip-ment, machines and instruments; fabricated desiccators, cabinets, and boxes with heat bent parts; and formed process equipment enclosures. The product also has many general industrial uses, including protection for static charge sensitive manufacturing devices and control of spark discharge in explosive environments.

The result is longer-life and greater safety in glazing applications where impact is a potential threat. Hardness is reduced with addition of the modifier as it imparts it's elastomeric structure into the polymer matrix. This modifier also slightly lowers the color value in whiteness and yellowness Index. PTFE is a self-lubricating material that provides a low friction coefficient, and is ideally suited for the manufacture of corrosion-resistant gaskets & seals. Several other manufacturers make their own brands of PTFE which can often be used as substitute material. We offers various brands of PTFE, but mechanical grade PTFE (as sold here) is a reprocessed grade that may contain a variety of brands in the overall blend. The mechanical properties and purity of Mechanical Grade PTFE may also be lower than Virgin Grade PTFE. Mechanical Grade PTFE is supplied without warrantee or any gaurantees regarding minimal properties. Customers requiring material certifications and traceabilty should consider VIRGIN PTFE made from Dyneon or Daiken resins, or Chemours® PTFE specialty grades such as Chemours® 7A, Chemours® 7C, Chemours® 8A or Chemours® 9B - Chemours® PTFE specialty grades are available as a custom order only and are priced higher than Generic Virgin PTFE Shapes - Lead-Time Will Apply.
