PBT - Sustadur® PBT
SUSTADUR PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) offers similar mechanical properties to acetal, however a higher maximum continuous operating temperature and improved chemical resistance makes it an excellent choice in food processing applications that require chemical or steam sanitizing.

PEEK - 30% Carbon-Filled
Peek 30% carbon-filled is 30% carbon fiber reinforced polyetheretherketone which is either extruded or compression-molded. The addition of carbon fibers enhances the compressive strength and stiffness of PEEK, and dramatically lowers its expansion rate. It offers designers optimum wear resistance and load carrying capability in a PEEK-based product. This grade provides 3-1/2 times higher thermal conductivity than unreinforced PEEK--dissipating heat from the bearing surface faster.
The addition of carbon fibers enhances the compressive strength and stiffness of PEEK, and dramatically lowers its expansion rate. It offers designers optimum wear resistance and load carrying capability in a PEEK-based product. This grade provides more thermal conductivity than unreinforced PEEK -- increasing heat dissipation from bearing surfaces improving bearing life and capability.

Phenolic - Grade XX Paper
XX Paper Phenolic is a paper-based high pressure laminate suited for general purpose electrical applications. The material has good mechanical properties and excellent moisture resistance. XX machines well and may be punched cold up to .046" and hot punched up to .093".
XXP Paper Phenolic is better than XX grade in both electrical and moisture-resisting properties. XXP is more suited for hot punching and falls between XP and XX in punching and cold-flow characteristics.

POLY 84 (MIL-P-8184) is a uniquely formulated, crosslinked preshrunk acrylic specifically designed to provide superior craze and solvent resistance for today's changing environment. Improvements such as lower water absorption and increased resistance to acids expands the number of "as cast" applications. Poly 84 also meets or exceeds MIL-P-8184, Type I and II, Class 1 and 2. Its superior craze resistance makes it ideal for monolithic windscreens, outer laminates and canopies. It is also available in transparent colors. It meets or exceeds all requirements of MIL-P-8184.Type I and II, Class 1 and 2.

Polycarbonate - Transporation Grade - Palgard™ TG
PALGARD™ TG offers optically clear, impact-resistant glazing for rail car applications and is engineered to withstand the rigors of daily service in the rail industry, including vandalism. Palgard TG is a polycarbonate substrate that offers tremendous impact resistance and breakage protection. It features an advanced surface coating that provides extraordinary chemical and abrasion resistance.
Budgets can be made or broken by unplanned maintenance and replacement. PALGARD TG helps to reduce costs and improve in-service availability of railcars.

Polycarbonate MG - 20% Glass-Filled (Standard Color Black)
Polycarbonate is a transparent thermoplastic that exhibits extraordinary impact resistance and excellent electrical
properties. In addition, its low moisture absorption rate and good chemical resistance make it an extremely versatile engineering material and allows for its use in a multitude of industrial applications. For applications requiring additional stiffness, glass fiber filled Polycarbonate is available with fiber filler levels ranging from 10% to 40%, but 20% Glass-Fiber is Standard.
- 20% Glass-Filled Polycarbonate is stocked in STANDARD BLACK COLOR.

Polyimide-Filled PTFE
Polyimide-Filled PTFE Shapes are available from Professional Plastics. Polyimide is another polymeric filler offering superior wear and abrasion resistance. Polyimide-filled PTFE compounds have about the lowest friction properties of all filled PTFE materials, so they provide great performance in non-lubricated (dry) applications. They will not abrade mating surfaces (even soft materials such as brass, stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic). Polyimide is one of the most expensive PTFE fillers, however.

Polystone® M Soft for conveying sensitive materials.
Many industries including beverage, packaging, pharmaceutical and cosmetics
utilize elaborate plastic containers and delicate glass bottles. Scratches and
other types of surface damage can be a challenging problem when handling these
products during the manufacturing processes. For instance, scratches on clear
PET mineral water bottles can easily result from the materials they contact
during the stages of filling, capping and packaging. That is precisely where
Polystone® M Soft is put to use.
Polystone® M Soft has an optimized formulation for
particularly gentle sliding properties and outstanding
abrasion resistance. The friction between the product
being conveyed and the material that it comes into contact
with is kept to a minimum. This sophisticated engineering
plastic ensures a rapid and smooth conveying process and
at the same time gently handles the conveyed products.

Static electricity is dissipated along the surface and this product does not need humidity or other surface treatments to achieve the antistatic performance. The excellent technical value of surface resistivity of 1010 Ù and volume resistivity of 109Ù .cm are offering cutting edge properties for new applications in various industries. The permanently antistatic property is not influenced by humidity and there is no migration taking place. The product is not containing carbon and therefore prepared for clean room applications. The excellent POM-C (Acetal copolymer) properties as high impact strength, low wear and dimensional stability are not much changed.
- Unlike other ESd Acetal Products, this Material is IVORY in Color rather than Tan.
Applications for Antistatic Acetals & Conductive Acetals:
