Micarta® Industrial Laminates
Micarta industrial laminates are established as the premium phenolic thermoset materials in the industry. Micarta Phenolic sheet is a hard, dense material made by applying heat and pressure to layers of paper or glass cloth impregnated with synthetic resin. These layers of laminations are usually of cellulose paper, cotton fabrics, synthetic yarn fabrics, glass fabrics or unwoven fabrics. When heat and pressure are applied to the layers, a chemical reaction (polymerization) transforms the layers into a high-pressure thermosetting industrial laminated plastic.

Over 98% of all G-10 is now made with a bromide filler which created a higher flame rating. This advanced material is called G-10/FR-4 per Mil-I-24768/27 (formerly Mil-P-18177 Type GEE-F).
The G-10/FR-4 is that standard material supplied by Professional Plastics. Non-brominated G-10 per Mil-I-14768/2 is still produced today, but only on a custom-basis.

NP101 (NEMA N-1 Nylon Phenolic)
NP101 (NEMA N-1 Nylon Phenolic) uses a modified phenolic resin on a woven nylon fabric substrate. The product offers good impact strength and excellent electrical properties under high humidity conditions. NP101 meets the requirements of MIL-I-24768/9 NPG. Phenolic Grade N-1 (Nylon Reinforced Phenolic) is a continuous nylon woven cloth base impregnated with a phenolic resin binder.

NP320 (NEMA L) Linen Phenolic
NP320 (NEMA L) is used where better machining is needed compared to that offered by canvas grades. This product consists of a fine-weave linen fabric and general-purpose phenolic resin. Besides easy machining, NP320 operates with less noise than metal. In addition, this physical material is not as abrasive as fiberglass alternatives when used in wear applications. Since it does not spark when struck, NP320 can be used in explosion-proof environments. Suitable for smaller and more intricate shapes than those made with NP310, this product is commonly used to make gears, pulleys, rollers, and guides.

Norplex NP500A - It (NEMA G-10) is a glass fabric combined with a halogen-free epoxy resin system. The product offers a combination of excellent electrical characteristics and superior physical properties. In addition, it is not flame retardant and meets NEMA G-10 requirements. NP500A is used for structural support and insulation properties. It is also suitable for pipe shoes and vacuum applications. NP500A complies with the requirements of MIL-I-24768/2, Type GEE, and IPC 4101, sheet 20.

Cryogenic G-10 sheet - Norplex NP500CR
NP500CR (NEMA G-10) is composed of a woven glass fabric combined with a halogen-free epoxy resin system. The product also offers superior physical properties and excellent electrical characteristics that are maintained in high-humidity conditions. In addition, it is NOT flame retardant and meets NEMA G-10 requirements. Designed to withstand absolute zero temperatures, the product is manufactured to the NIST G-10CR process specification for materials used in deep space and cryogenic applications. NP500CR complies with the requirements of MIL-I-24768/2, Type GEE.
Cryogenic Glass Epoxy material maintains its electrical insulation properties and superior strength at cryogenic temperatures (-270°C), up to to 135°C - wide operating temperature range. It also meets MIL-I-247682 Type GEE/CR. Its application acceptance has been established in superconductor power coils, high-energy accelerators, superconducting generators and magnetic levitation for high-speed rail transportation.

Polyblend Printable Polyethylene is an economical print grade polyethylene.

Polyblend polyethylene (PE) sheet and roll stock is a highly versatile material that can be used for a large number of converted products. Our high density polyethylene material offers an exceptional durability, stress crack resistance and is weather resistant.
Polyblend PE extruded material is ôgraphic quality" and is ideal for printing, including litho, screen and flexo. Polyethylene is completely recyclable and can be reclaimed by most community recycling centers.
Polyblend PE material comes in a variety of surface textures and is available in thicknesses from 0.008 to 0.125 gauge. We can extrude any PMS opaque color and have several stock colors in a variety of thicknesses.
