  • Meldin® 7211 15% Graphite + 10% PTFE
Meldin® 7211, 15% by weight graphite and 10% by weight PTFE fillers (comparable to Vespel SP-211). It has the lowest coefficient of friction of all the Meldin® 7000 series grades. However, above 300°F, we typically suggest using Meldin® 7021, which has a very similar coefficient of friction to 7211 at temperatures above 300°F, and the wear factor of 7021 is lower than 7211 at temperatures above 300°F.

  • Nycast® XHA-BLUE - Heat Stabilized
NYCAST® XHA-BLUE has a heat stabilizer that retards the loss of physical properties as temperature increases. This allows the material to function at approximately 10% higher temperatures than standard grades; meaning NYCAST XHA operating at 200° F will have approximately the same physical properties as a standard grade operating at 185° F. Maximum intermittent temperature for NYCAST XHA is 330° F and continuous operating temperature is 250° F (compared to 230° F for standard grades).

  • Semitron® ESd 420 - ESd PEI (ULTEM)
Semitron® 420 is stocked in our USA, Singapore and Taiwan Warehouses. Semitron ESd 420 Static Dissipative PEI is the only, truly dissipative plastic product for use in high temperature applications. This material offers a unique combination of properties including: static dissipation, low coefficient of expansion, high strength and heat resistance and is non-sloughing. ESd 420 has a tensile modulus of 550,000 psi, a heat deflection temperature (at 264 psi) of 420°F, and a surface resistivity in the intermediate range of 106 to 109 ohms/square (W/sq.).

Semitron stock shapes for machining, is ideal for making fixtures for handling silicon wafers and devices in equipment for manufacturing semiconductor devices.
    • Semitron 420 is stocked in our USA, Singapore and Taiwan Warehouses
Semitron® ESd 420 is also ideal for use in equipment for handling components in the hard-drive manufacturing and assembly processes. Semitron® ESd 420 also has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, high compressive strength and good wear resistance. MCAM-Quadrant Semitron® ESd 420 shapes have very low residual stresses and as a result can be machined very flat and to very tight tolerances. Perhaps most importantly Semitron® ESd 420 is non-sloughing. As a result, it does not particulate significantly in these handling applications. Wafer combs and other parts for handling sensitive electronic components must be dissipative. More importantly they must be capable of discharging static electricity in a controlled manner. An uncontrolled discharge event can lead to damaged product. Semitron® ESd 420, which has a surface resistivity of 106 to 109 Ohms/sq., is ideal for use in such applications. Semitron 420 reliably meets all physical performance needs for wafer combs and other handling components, combined with stable ESd performance.

  • Two-Way See Through Surveillance Mirror
See Through Mirror - aka "Two-Way Mirror" Transparent, See-through Mirrors (Surveillance Mirror) is available in either Acrylic 2 way mirror, or Polycarbonate 2 way mirror (for increased impact-resistance). Two way mirrors look like a mirror from one side and a window from the other side when correctly lit. You can only see through the mirror when the area you are looking from is darker then the area you are looking into. Works best when there is no light on the viewing side. When the light is equal on both sides it appears as a mirror but you can also see through to the other side.

1/8 " (.125") or 1/4" (.250") Mirror-Grade Acrylic or polycarbonate is coated with a 2-way Mirror Finish. Looks like a Mirror from the lighted side and a Window from the side with little or no light. Perfect for surveillance for a Show Room or Store from an Office. Can be used to hide surveillance cameras to monitor store activity. Used in Many Non-Security Related Crafts.
Note: Because acrylic and polycarbonate are flexible, we recommend the .250" thick for mirrors larger than 24" x 48" in size.
