These premium circuit board carrier materials are available in three popular versions to meet your assembly needs. The top-of-the-line grades are available in both non-conductive (CBC) and electrical static safe semi-conductive (CBC-C) versions. When an optically sense-able solder pallet is needed, without compromising electric static discharge safety, Glastic NBC grade is a perfect choice. All three types are made with high-strength advanced composite materials.
Glastic solder pallet materials are lightweight, which gives them an advantage over aluminum, titanium and other composite
materials. Dimensional stability, flatness, thermal shock resistance and chemical resistance make them ideal products for the very
hostile, lead-free environments presented in wave solder applications. Each sheet is closely checked for warp, twist, surface resistivity and other key properties prior to being micro-sanded to the tightest tolerance control available (+/- 0.002").
Whether you require dedicated pallets for individual boards or adjustable pallets that can accommodate various sizes, you

Kapton polyimide film is used in a wide variety of applications such as substrates for flexible printed circuits, transformer and capacitor insulation, sensors and bar code labels. Kapton Film is also used for wire and cable tapes, formed coil insulation, substrates for flexible printed circuits, motor slot liners, magnet wire insulation, transformer and capacitor insulation, magnetic and pressure-sensitive tapes, and tubing Kapton® polyimide film possesses a unique combination of properties that make it ideal for a variety of applications in many different industries. The ability of Kapton® to maintain its excellent physical, electrical, and mechanical properties over a wide temperature range has opened new design and application areas to plastic films. Mechetec Lf-13 utilizes a powdered PTFE at a 13% loading and is compliant with both FDA and USDA regulations at a cost that is up to 33% less than other filled acetal products, making it the workhorse of Polymer Industries's enhanced wear acetal product family.
Mechetec® Acetal (polyoxy-methylene) offers design engineers a superior blend of strength, stiffness, lubricity, and dimensional stability. These properties, along with inherent machining ease, have made Mechetec one of the most widely used engineering grade thermoplastics.

Nitrile Rubber- NBR (BUNA-N)
Nitrile rubber (NBR) (Buna N)is a general purpose material resistant to a large variety of oils and greases. It is the workhorse of oil sealing owing to cost/performance compromise. Different nitrile compounds are available for fuels and for industrial fluids. Nitrile rubber is generally serviceable between -40°C and 105°C; it can withstand 120°C intermittently. It is not recommended for glycol-based brake fluids and EP-type lubricants.
Types:
- Black Nitrile NBR (Buna-N) - STANDARD
Black NBR sheet, commercial grade, smooth finish. Excellent resistance to oils, solvents and fuel. Meets ASTM D2000-BF. Material will be supplied as Durometer 60 unless otherwise stated.
- White FDA Nitrile - SPECIAL
White NBR Food-Grade sheet, made from FDA-approved ingredients. Plate finish, good resistance to abrasion. Used for general gasketing, countertops and skirting in all areas of food processing. Non toxic and non-marking. Meets ASTM D2000-2BF.

Nylatron® 703XL is a new internally lubricated cast nylon for special area applications. Zero "stick slip" is its differentiating feature. Units equipped with Nylatron 703XL can accurately display smaller movements made possible by today's sophisticated control devices. Static and dynamic coefficients of friction that approximate each other at virtually every point over the Nylon product's useful range, make this possible.
The wear resistance of NYLATRON NSM with the added benefit of zero æstick-slip' makes NYLATRON 703 XL an ideal material for applications where precise motion control is required.
NYLATRON 703 XL has been prototyped in the Japanese market in Telescopic Crane Booms. NYLATRON 703 XL is the material of choice because of the virtual absence of vibrations during the movement of the boom resulting in more efficient positioning of the crane and safer working standards.

PVDF - Extruded Rods & Plates
PVDF (aka Kynar®, Solef®, Symalit®) is one of the most stable and pure of all commercial plastics. This highly chemically resistant fluoropolymer is used in piping, tubing, vessel fabrication, molded valves and fittings, tower packing, nozzles and other items for corrosive fluid handling. Its inherent chemical resistance and high purity make PVDF ideal for application in contact with high purity water, acids, chlorine, halogenated solvents and petrochemical mixtures. The natural flame retardancy and flexibility of PVDF leads to many uses in the jacketing of fiber optic cables, fiber optic raceways and copper cable used in plenum areas of buildings. PVDF is FDA compliant, absolutely non-toxic and can be used in repeated contact with food products. Its surface, like glass, is unfavorable to the proliferation of microorganisms.

Semitron® ESd 225 - Acetal
Semitron® ESd 225 Acetal Sheets & Rods
Semitron® ESd products are inherently dissipative and electrically stable unlike many other "dissipative" plastic shapes. They do not rely on atmospheric phenomena to activate, nor are surface treatments used to achieve dissipation. Static electricity is dissipated through these products as readily as it is dissipated along the surface. All of these products dissipate 5 KV in less than 2 seconds per Mil-B-81705C.

SIMONA® PVC VS-1
PVC VS-1 is a fire-safe PVC material which is FM 4910 listed at .250" thickness and above. It is made from PVC, similar to Type I, but formulated for better fire retardancy.

Manufacturing areas and cleanrooms are designed to be virtually free of contamination at every stage of production. MINIMUM THICKNESS IS .250" - FOR SHEETS THINNER THAN .250", USE CRP-1
- VSI is the historic SIMONA branded PVC FM4910 material.
-CRP1 is the historic Laminations branded FM4910 PVC material is now our leading material due to its bright white color (and color consistency) and high surface gloss.
- Both materials meet FM4910, but CRP1 outperforms VS1 in terms of aesthetics and chemical resistance.

Tivar® Anti Static UHMW
Tivar® 1000 ESd AntiStat UHMW is an ideal material to use when potentially volatile conditions exist, such as those in grain elevators and munitions plants, effectively safeguarding against static discharges. In addition, it resists heat and protects robotics and other products that are sensitive to dust accumulation and electrical charge buildup. With a surface resistivity range of 10 5 to 10 9 (ohms/cm2) TIVAR® AntiStatic handles tough conditions where dust and static electricity can cause problems. Black TIVAR® AntiStatic is available in two standard sheet sizes: 48" x 120" sheets with gauge sizes ranging from 1/16" to 6"; 60" x 120" sheets with gauge sizes ranging from 3/8" to 1". It is also available in rod, board, tube, tape and profiles.

Tivar® Oil Filled UHMW-PE
Tivar® Oil Filled is the material of choice for packaging, bottling, and food processing and handling applications requiring FDA and USDA compliance.
This advanced product uses oil filled polymers to lubricate mating surfaces with a dynamic coefficient of friction formula of less than 0.14. With Tivar® Oil Filled, conveyors operate more effectively, without the effort and added expense of unnecessary lubrication. On Tivar® Oil Filled guides, sprockets and conveyor components, chains move easily with less tension, stretching or binding.
Tivar® Oil Filled comes in either a dark brown or gray color and is available in 48" x 120" sheets with gauge sizes ranging from 1/8" to 2". It is also manufactured in rod, molded parts and some profiles.

Vespel® SP-21 Rod & Plate
Vespel® SP-21 Sheets & Vespel® Rods - DuPont Vespel® SP-21 grade has 15% graphite by weight added for increased wear resistance and reduced friction in applications such as bearings, thrust washers, bushings, seal rings, slide blocks and other wear applications. Vespel SP-21 has the highest mechanical properties of the graphite filled grades. If insulation is less important than low-friction properties, then you're looking for graphite-enhanced SP-21.
