Polystone® P MG is a compression molded polypropylene that is
manufactured by a unique heat stabilization process. The state of the art
material is easily machined and is specifically designed for surgical trays
and caddies due to its excellent dimensional stability, resistance to steam
autoclaving and low moisture absorption.

Röchling Engineering Plastics continues to set trends and provide solutions
in the food processing and pharmaceutical industries when it comes to

detectable UHMW-PE available in the market.
Repeated handling, cleaning and normal wear and tear of plastic
component parts on food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing
machinery increases the risk of a fragment breaking off and contaminating
the product during processing.
The need for traceable plastics, especially machined parts for filling, sorting
and packaging machinery is critical due to strict FDA regulations regarding
foreign materials and contaminants. Since we introduced our line of Metal
Detectable engineering plastics (Polystone M MDT (UHMW-PE) and
Sustarin C MDT (Acetal)) more than two years ago, these unique products
continue be an effective solution for plastic parts used in open product zone
applications.
However moving forward, we quickly realized a demand for X-ray
detectable plastic parts for today's high speed machinery as processors
turn to X-ray inspection equipment especially for post-package inspection.
Working together with one of the world's largest food processors and a
leading manufacturer of X-ray inspection systems, our Polystone M XDT
has proven to be detected with a particle size as small as a 3mm cube.
Running at speeds as fast as 250 feet-per-minute, this product can be
detected and automatically sorted to a product hold area for further
inspection. It works effectively with various types of packaging including
metal cans, plastic and composite containers and glass jars.

Polyurethane Foam Boards are a unique fine-celled, high-density polyurethane foam intended for proofing NC/CNC machine programs, prototype models, and other modeling applications where a versatile, stable, grain-free stock material is desired. These foam boards are available in 12 lb., 15 lb., 20 lb., and 30 lb. densities, and provide a surface which produces excellent edge definition and also enhances paintability and finishing.
- TCC-6012 - A tan colored 12 lb. density polyurethane foam board which machines very easily, has good edge definition and produces a good machined surface finish.
- TCC-6015 - A tan colored 15 lb. polyurethane foam board which produces a better machined surface than the TCC-6012. It produces a very good edge definition and offers good dimensional stability.
- TCC-6020 - A tan colored 20 lb. polyurethane foam board which produces excellent edge definition and a very good surface. It offers good dimensional stability and excellent shore hardness.
- TCC-6030 - A tan colored 30 lb. polyurethane foam board which produces the best edge definition and surface finish available in a syntactic polyurethane material. It is easy to hand work or machine, is non-abrasive and has good dimensional stability.

PP-1052 HD Pattern Plank
PP-1052 HD Pattern Plank is a polyurethane board that is designed for machining extremely durable and wear resistant foundry patterns, core boxes and other tools that require high wear and impact resistance. PP-1052 HD is a harder, more dense, rigid and less costly version of its predecessor PP-1052 Pattern Plank. This plank is a tough, cost effective alternative to metal. Its tough, high-impact resistant properties will produce dimensionally stable tools.
PP-1052 HD Pattern Plank Applications: Applications include prototype and low-volume to high volume foundry patterns, core boxes, match plates, gating and risering. Other uses include metal forming, hammer forming, stretch press dies, hemming bucks and hydroform tooling.
Sheet Sizes:Standard 16" x 60" sheets in 2", 3" and 4" thicknesses.

Choosing The Proper PBHT Density
Density is typically selected according to application or specific job requirements. The primary difference between various densities of our PBHT High Density Urethane is the thickness of the cell wall. The thicker the cell wall, the higher the density. The higher the density of Precision Board Plus PBHT, the stronger, tougher and heavier the product is. Density also directly relates to how much raw material is required to manufacture the product and therefore directly relates to its cost. The wide variety of densities available for PBHT means that material cost can be managed according to application-specific performance requirements.

ProLam® C - Canvas Phenolic
ProLam® C - Canvas Phenolic is a Canvas Grade C (machining grade) for structural and mechanical applications. This laminated product is available in sheets, rods and tubes. ProLam® C utilizes a canvas base and phenolic resin binder. Grade C & CE canvas phenolic are made from a medium weave cotton cloth fabric and mixed with phenolic resins to provide good wear resistance, low moisture absorption, and good mechanical strength at economical cost. Canvas-based phenolics are used for structural supports, piston rings, gears, spacers, and bearing surfaces.
