Redco Synsteel is a "pulp safe" UHMW engineered to remedy concerns with plastic contamination. Synsteel has a specific gravity >2, is attracted to magnets, has a melting point > 180°C and will trigger metal detectors. Synsteel also carries the benefit of twice the compression strength of virgin UHMW, reduced thermal expansion, improved abrasion resistance and UV stabilization.

Takiron FM4910 Materials
Takiron FM4910 Approved Materials:
FM4910 is the fire retardant property standard established by Factory Mutual System, a worldwide industrial insurance organization, for materials used in clean room applications. Test criteria for the selection of materials for clean rooms are presented. The criteria deal with limiting fire propagation and limiting contamination of the clean room environment by smoke.
The criteria are represented by the following two indices:
- Fire Propagation Index (FPI): Less Than or Equal to 6
- Smoke Damage Index (SDI): Less Than or Equal to 4.

- FMH 5300 C-PVC Plate Excellent Heat Resistant Grade (Ivory color) - standard 48" x 96" or 1m x 2m sheets.

Tivar® 1000 EC - Conductive UHMW
Tivar® 1000 EC is a PE-UHMW grade containing specific additives rendering this material a lower surface resistivity than TIVAR 1000 ESD, improving electrical conductivity and UV-resistance. Tivar® DockGuard
TIVAR® DockGuard provides dock fender facing that outlasts other materials such as wood, rubber, urethane or high density polyethylene. The ideal material for marine fender systems, TIVAR® DockGuard allows vessels to glide easily along its surface without marring hulls. Impervious to marine bore worms, TIVAR® DockGuard also sheds mussels and barnacles. Outwearing hardened steel, it cuts hourglass wear on pilings, and withstands salt, fuel and chemical spills.

Torlon® 5030
Torlon ® 5030 is 30% glass-reinforced, PAI that is typically injection-molded, but can also be compression-molded, OR EXTRUDED into basic shapes. It is ideal for higher load structural or electronic applications. Professional Plastics offers basic shapes on this page as EXTRUDED from Torlon 5030 Resin. Extruded Torlon 5030 offers the lowest CLTE (just 0.90 x 10-5) in a unidirectional pattern along the extrusion direction due to the natural alignment of the glass-fibers during the extrusion process. If a greater multi-directional stability is required, consider Torlon 5530 (compression-molded). Due to the random disbursement of the glass-fibers during the compression-molding process, Torlon 5530 provides greater multidirectional stability, yet less unidirectional stability.

The most cost-effective production method, but offering the least performance, is Injection-Molding. Torlon 5030 injection-molded parts are selected for smaller shapes or when the greatest degree of dimensional control is required.
