Acetal Rods and Acetal Sheets are also characterized by a low coefficient of friction and good wear properties especially in wet environments. Because of its high strength, modulus, and resistance to impact and fatigue, Acetal is used as a weight-saving metal replacement. Acetal copolymer overcomes the common problem of centerline porosity in large shapes of Acetal Homopolymer (aka Delrin)

CPVC Pipe - For Superior Corrosion Resistance in High Temperature Applications
Harvel CPVC pipe is produced from a specialty blend of Corzan® CPVC material with unique physical properties desirable for piping applications (i.e., improved impact resistance and good fire resistance capabilities). The CPVC product line includes schedules 40 and 80 piping from 1/4" through 16" diameters. Harvel CPVC piping systems can handle more than three-fourths of the temperature/pressure requirements of today's typical process plants. CPVC pressure pipe has an upper working temperature limit of 200°F (93°C), or approximately 60°F (15°C) above that of Type I Grade I PVC. As with all thermoplastic piping systems, CPVC's ability to withstand pressure varies with pipe diameter, wall thickness, and temperature. For pressure piping applications it is recommended for temperatures as high as 200°F (93°C) when appropriate temperature de-rating factors are applied. As the pipe diameter and temperature increases, the pressure rating of the product decreases. For example, 1/2" Schedule 80 CPVC pipe is engineered for continuous service of 850 psi @ 73°F (23°C). The same pipe in service @ 180°F (82°C) carries a maximum working pressure rating of 210 psi at this temperature. 6" Schedule 80 CPVC pipe is designed for 270 psi @ 73°F, and 54 psi @ 200°F.

Typical properties include stiffness, dimensional stability, impact resistance, and structural strength. Delrin® 150 is standard general purpose, unfilled acetal. This grade has the best impact toughness of all unfilled Delrin products.

Surgical masks are regulated under 21 CFR 878.4040. Surgical face masks are not to be shared and may be labeled as surgical, isolation, dental, or medical procedure masks. They may come with or without a face shield. These are often referred to as disposable face masks, although not all face masks are regulated as surgical masks. Surgical masks are made in different thicknesses and with different ability to protect you from contact with liquids. These properties may also affect how easily you can breathe through the face mask and how well the surgical mask protects you.
If worn properly, a surgical face mask is meant to help block large-particle droplets, splashes, sprays, or splatter that may contain germs (viruses and bacteria), keeping it from reaching your mouth and nose. Surgical face masks may also help reduce exposure of your saliva and respiratory secretions to others.
While a surgical face mask may be effective in blocking splashes and large-particle droplets, a face mask, by design, does not filter or block very small particles in the air that may be transmitted by coughs, sneezes, or certain medical procedures. Surgical masks also do not provide complete protection from germs and other contaminants because of the loose fit between the surface of the face mask and your face.
Surgical face masks are not intended to be used more than once. If your face mask is damaged or soiled, or if breathing through the mask becomes difficult, you should remove the face mask, discard it safely, and replace it with a new one. To safely discard your face mask, place it in a plastic bag and put it in the trash. Wash your hands after handling the used mask.

CDM ESD 68910N is a new generation material taking into account the necessity of thin walls machining. Electrostatic discharge damage electronic components and circuits every day. To use CDM will allow charges to move slowly out of the circuit and will ensure the quality of your production. CDM ESD product have guaranteed dissipative characteristics. The CDM range of products exhibits higher mechanical and resistance properties as standard composite materials. The random glass mat substrate present in the CDM ESD 68910N minimizes delamination problems during machining or pallet use. The relative low thermal conductivity in the CDM materials allows quick pallet turnaround eliminating most of the time both the necessity to provide a cooling station and the process heat sink effect experienced in the metallic pallets.
- CDM materials can substitute metallic solder frames with great advantages.
Flux resistance is depending on composition and pH level. CDM has been developed to have a better withstand towards chemicals. To preserve the stability of CDM material, a regular cleaning can still be made. Due to the high fiberglass content, machining is recommended with carbide or diamond toolings. Precise machining with very accurate tolerances can be achieved by experts in the conception and machining of pallets.
