Nycast™ 6PA FG - Food Grade Cast Nylon - Colors
Nycast™ 6PA FG - Food Grade Cast Nylon in Colors - FDA compliant grades. Nycast™ 6PA FG can be in direct contact with foods. The material offers high wear resistance and is an ideal substitute for stainless steel wherever lubrication is not a concern.

NylaPro 1000-XL
NylaPro 1000-XL contains a proprietary solid lubricant, which offers a lower Dynamic Coefficient of Friction, and Superior Wear Resistance to all other grades of Type 6 Monomer Cast Nylon. NylaPro 1000-XL is used for Dynamic applications where external lubrication is difficult or impossible. Providing in excess of 5 times longer part life than other lubricated materials, NylaPro 1000-XL offers significant savings in machine maintenance and down time costs. As well, it provides added assurance of part life in friction applications where other Cast Nylons may fail.

Nylapro® PVM - High PV
Nylapro® PVM (pressure/velocity/maximum) was developed to provide a premium material for a variety of applications. Nylapro PVM is a self lubricated material with a low coefficient of friction that can increase the life of equipment. Nylapro® PVM offers exceptional PV (pressure times velocity) values resulting in an excellent material for tough load bearing/frictional applications.

Nylatech IRG™ Impact-Resistant Nylon
Nylatech® IRG retains the basic physical properties of nylon 6 but has increased impact resistance. Since traditional cast nylon 6 materials are semi-crystalline, they are susceptible to cracking and breaking when subjected to high impact loads especially when the part is nicked or notched. Nylatech IRG addresses this issue. Due to the impact resistance of Nylatech IRG, it outperforms these traditional grades in heavy impact applications such as pile driving cushions. The material can also be used in vibration dampening applications, mechanical stops or other high impact situations.
- Nylon IRG Blue (Nylatech IRG)- Impact-Resistant Grade contains glass-filler for enhanced stability.

Nylatron® LIG - Oil-Filled Nylon
Nylatron® LIG combines the toughness of cast PA6 with an oil-based lubricant that is encapsulated within the nylon matrix. It increases the load bearing performance of the material when compared to unfilled nylons and reduces the coefficient of friction. It is an ideal material for industrial application.

Nylatron® 66 SA FR
Nylatron® 66 SA FR - This grade has been developed to fulfill the requirements as set out in the test program conducted on plastic material to measure flammability characteristics. It determines the material's tendency either to extinguish or to spread the flame once the specimen has been ignited. This program is described in UL 94 and this product grade fulfills the V-0 criteria as from 1 mm thickness. It also fulfills the requirements as set out in EN 45545-2 regulation - a standard specific for railway applications - fire protection on railway vehicles.

Nylatron® GSM Blue Nylon (MD+Oil)
Nylatron® GSM Blue Nylon
The first cast nylon to combine both molybdenum disulphide (MoS²) (aka MD) and Oil for the load capacity of Nylatron GSM nylon, plus improved frictional characteristics. It excels in higher pressures, and at low speeds-up to 40 fpm. It offers 20% lower coefficient of friction, 50% greater limiting PV, and a lower "k" factor than Nylatron GSM, and the lowest "slip-stick" of any nylon product making it ideal for slide pads, thrust washers and trunion bearings.

Nylatron® NSM
Nylatron® NSM Nylon is the best bearing and wear nylon product available today. This proprietary type 6 Nylon formulation is produced using MCAM-Quadrant's Monocast® process. Solid lubricant additives impart self-lubricating, high pressure/velocity and superior wear resistance characteristics. Nylatron NSM was developed specifically for demanding applications where larger size parts are required. It is ideal for bearings, gears and wear pads.
- In wear applications, Nylatron NSM lasts up to 10 times longer than standard Type 6 nylon

Nylatron® SLG-FDA PA6 (formerly Nylatron LFG)
Nylatron® SLG-FDA PA6 (formerly known as; Nylatron® LFG) Lubricated Food Grade Nylon - Available in Natural (Ivory) or Blue (PA 6 + oil). Nylatron® SLG-FDA PA6
is self-lubricating in the real meaning of the word, and has a FDA food contact compliant composition. Nylatron® SLG-FDA PA6 has been specially developed for non-lubricated, highly loaded and slowly moving parts in food contact applications. Compared to standard cast nylons, it offers lower maintenance costs and longer service life.

Nyloil® FG (Food Grade) (Natural Color)
NYLOIL-FG is a self lubricating nylon bearing material which meets the provisions of FDA Regulations 21 CFR, Section 177.15 (and others) and USDA 3A Sanitary Standards 20-17 for direct contact with food. This is a particularly useful material where additional lubrication is not desirable because of cleanability, contamination, or other considerations. Nyloil FG Natural is an oil-filled nylon in Natural Color (off-white).

Nyloil® MDX (Gray or Blue) Oil-Filled Nylon
NYLOIL MDX (Gray or Blue) - oil-filled cast nylon designed for slightly higher load capabilities.
Nyloil oil-filled cast nylon, is carefully dispersed with an oil-based lubricant during the manufacturing process. The result is a highly crystalline, internally lubricated, high-strength polymer with enhanced wear and reduced friction properties.
NYLOIL is offered in grades tailored to specific applications:
- NYLOIL MDX (Gray or Blue) - designed for slightly higher load capabilities (as sold here)
Other Grades Include:
- NYLOIL (Green) - ideal for most anti-friction applications

Nylon 6/12 - Moisture Resistant
Nylon 6/12 has a lower modulus, higher elongation, lower strength, lower thermal distortion temperature, lower hardness, and lower melting point than Nylon 6/6. However, Nylon 6/12 absorbs half as much water on Nylon 6/6. Thus, even though the properties may not be as good as Nylon 6/6 in dry conditions; the properties of Nylon 6/12 will be much more consistent when it is used in applications in which water may be present. The absorption of water has a significant effect on the properties of nylon.

Nylon MD + Oil - Blue (Generic)
Nylon MD-OIL Blue (Generic)
- Standard Color: DARK NAVY BLUE

This provides a material possessing the same high Compressive Strength and Load Bearing properties of MD filled, with all the advantages of a Liquid Lubricant. Nylon MD + OIL (Blue) is especially suited for High Load - Low RPM applications, but is a superior replacement for MD in many heavy-duty friction generating applications.

Nylon®, Oil-Filled - Green (Generic)
Oil-Filled Nylon (green Color): - A special formulation of Liquid Lubricant encapsulated during manufacture, provides for true lubrication at the bearing surface. It is offered for applications where maintenance lubrication is difficult or impossible. Oil-filled Nylon also, limits moisture adsorption, making it an ideal bearing material for submerged or critical tolerance applications.
