Acrylic Rods - Extruded Plexiglass Rod
Plexiglass Extruded Acrylic Rods are available from Professional Plastics in standard 6 foot lengths (full cases only). These economical plexiglass acrylic rods are excellent for use in POP Displays and other decorative items. They are normally supplied in a paper sleeve to protect during handling, but keep in mind that extruded acrylic rods do not have the optical clarity or machining characteristics of cast acrylic rod. In larger diameter rods (.875" dia and above) these high-quality extruded rods are commonly used as grab bars in showers, tubs and spas. Acrylic is moisture resistant, non-toxic and meets standard building codes for use in these applications.

Plexiglass Cast acrylic rods offer excellent clarify & machining characteristics when compared to extruded rods. This material offers good chemical-resistance & is FDA approved for food contact.
Acrylic offers high light transmittance and can be easily heat-formed without loss of optical clarity. Prolonged exposure to moisture, or even total immersion in water, does not significantly effect the mechanical or optical properties of this outstanding economical and multi-purpose material.

Non-Glare Acrylic Sheet
- ACRYLITE P-99 Non-Glare acrylic sheet was created to minimize glare and reflection and maximize the unhindered viewing of framed artwork. Its matte finish shows the art and nothing but the art from almost any angle and under typical lighting conditions. Acrylite® P-99 sheet, continuously manufactured, is lightweight and easily fabricated, offering a non-glare surface that can be painted or silk-screened. It is ideal for picture framing. Note: Sheet appears slightly hazy until it is placed directly on top of artwork. Once placed on artwork, the clarity comes through and the artwork is easily viewed without the glare associated with standard acrylic sheet.

Acrylic Coated Fiberglass Sleeving - 400F Series - 400F SERIES acrylic coated sleeving is a universal sleeving used in fractional as well as integral horsepower motor leadouts and crossovers, dry and oil-filled transformers, welding apparatus and as insulation on coils. 400F Series is comprised of acrylic resin continuously coated over premium electrical grade braided fiberglass sleeving. 400F Series offers excellent flexibility, cut-through and mechanical abrasion resistance and is rated class 155ºC electrically. Acrylic sleeving is the work-horse of the motor, transformer and lighting industries.
400F Series is compatible with all magnet wire coatings as well as insulating varnishes such as polyesters, epoxies, phenolics and formvar; it is an approved component in most UL insulation systems.
470F Series is manufactured with a clear, modified acrylic resin which offers increased mechanical strength and improved thermal stability.

R7800 impact-modified acrylic sheets from Professional Plastics offers superior impact-resistance than standard acrylic sheets. The result is longer-life and greater safety in glazing applications where impact is a potential threat. Applications include Golf Cart Windshields, UTV windshields, off-road vehicle windshields, equipment screens, and other transparent glazing needs. Generally, PMMA is very hard material. Hardness is reduced with addition of the modifier as it imparts it's elastomeric structure into the polymer matrix. The impact modifier also slightly reduces transparency in accordance with the percentage of modifier that is added to the base PMMA resin. This modifier also slightly lowers the color value in whiteness and yellowness Index.
