Kynar® 740 PVDF Sheet & Rod
Kynar® 740, an engineering thermoplastic that offers the stable characteristics of a fluoropolymer, as well as mechanical strength, abrasion resistance and high purity. Kynar® 740 PVDF sheets & rods also offer excellent chemical resistance, UV radiation resistance and low permeability. PVDF can be used in the semiconductor, pulp and paper, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for nuclear waste, and chemical and food processing. Macor® Machinable Glass Ceramic
Macor® is a machinable glass ceramic material that possesses outstanding engineering properties. Unlike other ceramics, Macor can be machined with ordinary metalworking tools. This problem solving material combines the performance of a technical ceramic with the versatility of a high performance plastic. Macor has no porosity and when properly baked out, will not outgas. It is strong and rigid and, unlike high temperature plastics, will not creep or deform. Macor machinable glass ceramic is also radiation resistant.

MP-1065 Salmon Modeling Board
MP-1065 Salmon Model Plank®
MP-1065 Model Plank is a medium density polyurethane modeling and styling board which has excellent dimensional stability. This Tooling Plank is non-abrasive, machines easily at fast cutting speeds, finishes to a good surface with excellent edge definition and produces very little tool wear.
When manufactured the MP-1065 Salmon Model Plank uses a renewable raw material as a substantial portion of its chemistry which reduces our reliance upon petroleum based raw materials. We consider this a significant benefit to our customers who are environmentally conscious.
Applications: MP-1065 applications include as master models, styling models and prototypes, visual models, NC tape proofing and other applications requiring fast machining and good model surfaces.

PEEK Sheets & PEEK Rods - VIRGIN Grade
PEEK Sheets & PEEK Rods, UNFILLED, VIRGIN Grade PEEK (PolyEtherEtherKetone) is a high performance engineering thermoplastic that offers chemical and water resistance similar to PPS, but can operate at higher temperatures. PEEK can be used continuously to 480°F (250°C) and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties. For hostile environments, PEEK is a high strength alternative to fluoropolymers. PEEK carries a V-0 flammability rating and exhibits very low smoke and toxic gas emission when exposed to flame. - Formability Temp: 340° F to 380° F (Cast) vs 290° F to 320° F (Extruded)
- Cast acrylic has a higher molecular weight, therefore it will cut, drill and rout cleaner.
- When machining cast acrylic, shavings will flake off whereas extruded acrylic shavings may gum up on the tool.
- Cast acrylic also offers better glue-joint effectiveness and performs better in laser cutting.

Polycarbonate Sheet - GP
Polycarbonate Sheet offers superior durability, unmatched design flexibility and structural integrity that easily surpasses laminated glass and acrylic alternatives. Polycarbonate Sheet GP (Standard General-Purpose Glazing Grade) will transmit 86% of light. This product is UV stabilized, has a heat deflection temperature of 270°F at 264 PSI, and has a smoke density rating less than 75. Polycarbonate glazing sheet is available in solar gray and bronze in thicknesses from .080" to .500". This uncoated polycarbonate sheet is the standard grade for general purpose applications and can be used for economical protection against breakage or intrusion. A better insulator than glass, PC sheet contributes to lower energy costs.

- TCC-6012 - A tan colored 12 lb. density polyurethane foam board which machines very easily, has good edge definition and produces a good machined surface finish.
- TCC-6015 - A tan colored 15 lb. polyurethane foam board which produces a better machined surface than the TCC-6012. It produces a very good edge definition and offers good dimensional stability.

PP-1052 HD Pattern Plank is a polyurethane board that is designed for machining extremely durable and wear resistant foundry patterns, core boxes and other tools that require high wear and impact resistance. PP-1052 HD is a harder, more dense, rigid and less costly version of its predecessor PP-1052 Pattern Plank. This plank is a tough, cost effective alternative to metal. Its tough, high-impact resistant properties will produce dimensionally stable tools.

PTFE - 25% Glass-Filled
PTFE Glass-Filled - Milled glass fibers have the least effect on chemical and electrical properties and add greatly to the mechanical properties of unfilled PTFE. Addition of glass improves compressive properties by as much as 40% and improves wear resistance greatly. These compounds resist acids and oxidation but can be attacked by alkali.
PTFE with 25% glass fibers for increased stability is supplied in sheets, rods & tubes.

PTFE Sheet & Rod (Virgin Grade)
PTFE is a fluoropolymer that exhibits astonishing chemical resistance and ultra high-purity. Self-lubricating and with a low friction coefficient, PTFE sheets and rods are ideally suited for the manufacture of high-temperature seals, insulators and bearings used in semiconductor, aerospace & chemical processing industries. PTFE's low coefficient of friction makes it suitable for applications where sliding action of parts is needed: such as plain bearings, gears, and slide plates. In these applications, it performs significantly better than nylon and acetal; and is comparable to UHMW. PTFE however can be used over a far wider temperature range than these materials; -100°F to +400°F (-73°C to 204°C) and offers superior electrical insulation properties. Although its' mechanical properties are low compared to other engineering plastics, those properties can be enhanced through the use of additives such as Carbon, Graphite, Bronze, and Glass Fiber. PTFE Sheets & Rods exhibit astonishing chemical resistance. PTFE is a self-lubricating material that provides a low friction coefficient, and is ideally suited for the manufacture of corrosion-resistant gaskets & seals. Several other manufacturers make their own brands of PTFE which can often be used as substitute material. We offers various brands of PTFE, but mechanical grade PTFE (as sold here) is a reprocessed grade that may contain a variety of brands in the overall blend. The mechanical properties and purity of Mechanical Grade PTFE may also be lower than Virgin Grade PTFE. Mechanical Grade PTFE is supplied without warrantee or any gaurantees regarding minimal properties. PVC is the most widely used member of the vinyl family. Common applications include chemical processing tanks, valves, fittings & piping systems. PVC Sheets, Rods & Tubes offer excellent corrosion and weather resistance. PVC Sheet and PVC Rod have a high strength-to-weight ratio and is a good electrical and thermal insulator. PVC is also self-extinguishing per UL flammability tests. PVC may be used to temperatures of 140°F (60°C). Available in rigid PVC Sheets, Rods, and Tube.

Radel® R-7159 PPSU Resin
Radel R-7159 polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) was developed specifically for aircraft interior applications. The product
complies with the FAA regulation 14CFR Part 25 Appendix F, offering vertical burn resistance, very low smoke generation and, through the use of proprietary additives, low heat release values in the Ohio State University (OSU) rate of heat release method. It also generates low flaming-mode toxic gas emissions.
This resin offers good resistance to most fluids found in the aviation industry and is available in a natural color that is designed to accept aircraft paint systems for aesthetic parts. The painting function enhances the chemical resistance of the polymer and provides the final step in color coordination.
