Nylon 6/12 - Moisture Resistant
Nylon 6/12 has a lower modulus, higher elongation, lower strength, lower thermal distortion temperature, lower hardness, and lower melting point than Nylon 6/6. However, Nylon 6/12 absorbs half as much water on Nylon 6/6. Thus, even though the properties may not be as good as Nylon 6/6 in dry conditions; the properties of Nylon 6/12 will be much more consistent when it is used in applications in which water may be present. The absorption of water has a significant effect on the properties of nylon.

PEEK Sheets & PEEK Rods, UNFILLED, VIRGIN Grade PEEK (PolyEtherEtherKetone) is a high performance engineering thermoplastic that offers chemical and water resistance similar to PPS, but can operate at higher temperatures. PEEK can be used continuously to 480°F (250°C) and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties. For hostile environments, PEEK is a high strength alternative to fluoropolymers. PEEK carries a V-0 flammability rating and exhibits very low smoke and toxic gas emission when exposed to flame. PET-P (Generic) Sheet, Rods
PET-P (Generic version only) - PET-P is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester characterized as having the best dimensional stability coupled with excellent wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction, high strength, and resistance to moderately acidic solutions. PET-P is capable of sustaining high loads and enduring wear conditions. PET-P offers good chemical and abrasion resistance. Its low moisture absorption enables mechanical and electrical properties to remain virtually unaffected by moisture.

Polycarbonate Sheet GP (Standard General-Purpose Glazing Grade) will transmit 86% of light. This product is UV stabilized, has a heat deflection temperature of 270°F at 264 PSI, and has a smoke density rating less than 75. Polycarbonate glazing sheet is available in solar gray and bronze in thicknesses from .080" to .500". This uncoated polycarbonate sheet is the standard grade for general purpose applications and can be used for economical protection against breakage or intrusion.
