Kydex® 160 Sheet
Kydex® 160 Class I/A Rated Thermoplastic Sheet
Kydex 160 is a proprietary acrylic/PVC thermoplastic sheet that is used for laminating and thermoforming applications requiring a Class I/A rating. Unlike many other thermoplastics, Kydex 160 is less hygroscopic and frequently does not require pre-drying. Kydex 160 meets Class I/A building code ratings up to 0.125" (3.12mm) and is UL listed up to 0.080" (2.03mm)
SUGGESTED USES FOR KYDEX 160 SHEET:
Kydex 160 sheet can be used in both flat sheet and thermoformed sheet applications such as:

Kydex® T Sheet
Kydex® T is a proprietary acrylic/PVC thermoplastic sheet that is cost competitive with fire retardant ABS/PVC (FR-ABS) formulations but with significantly higher impact strength and extensibility. Unlike FR-ABS, Kydex® T is less hygroscopic, and typically does not require pre-drying. This outstanding material offers superior impact resistance (800J/m), more uniform forming with less wall thinning and offers significantly greater resistance to a broad range of corrosive chemicals and cleaning solutions.
- P-3 (Velour Matte Texture) will be the Standard Stock Finish of Kydex T Sheet. (other textures available with Minimum Order Quantity)
- If you require immediate availability with a P-1 Finish (Level Hair Cell Finish), switch to
Kydex 100 Sheet which is standard with P-1 Finish.

Kynar® KYNStick® Tape with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive
KYNStick® Tape is made with Kynar® film with an Acrylic Pressure Sensitive Adhesive for ease of application, positioning and fastening. KYNStick® Tape offers excellent chemical and corrosion resistance and has a high tensile strength. KYNStick® has good thermal stability and can be used in applications up to 300°F. Kynar® (PVDF) has extremely high purity which makes it a good candidate for food applications.
When specified, Kynar 740 FILM complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.510, USDA, USP XX Class VI, 3A sanitary standards and meets ASTM D3222 resin specifications. KYNStick® Tape also possesses high impact resistance and is tough and durable.
- Note: Although the FILM is FDA approved, the ADHESIVE backing in NOT
PVDF (Kynar ®) is strong and tough as reflected by its tensile properties and impact strength. Compared to many thermoplastics, PVDF (Kynar ®) has excellent resistance to creep and fatigue, yet in thin sections such as films, PVDF (Kynar ®) components are flexible and transparent. Kynar ® Film is stable to UV and the effects of weather. In cold, heat, sunlight and humidity Kynar® Film does not wear out or get brittle. Kynar® has low NBS smoke generation and superior LOI.

LEXAN™ sheet (type LEXAN 9034 standard): In thicknesses of .125", Lexan™ 9034 sheet will transmit 86% of the light. LEXAN™ Sheet is UV stabilized, has a heat deflection temperature of 270° F at 264 PSI, and has a smoke density rating less than 75. LEXAN® 9034 is engineered for window glazing as well as for sign applications. In addition to colorless (clear), Lexan™ 9034 is available in solar gray and bronze in thicknesses from .080" to .500". Supplier of LEXAN™ 9034 uncoated polycarbonate sheet which is the standard grade of LEXAN™ sheet for general purpose applications. High-impact LEXAN™ 9034 can be used for economical protection against breakage or intrusion. A better insulator than glass, Lexan sheet contributes to lower energy costs. Lexan sheet boasts an impact strength 250 times greater than that of glass and 30 times greater than acrylic. This strength and flexibility has made Lexan sheet an indispensable material for a wide variety of applications.
