Tivar® Oil Filled UHMW-PE
Tivar® Oil Filled is the material of choice for packaging, bottling, and food processing and handling applications requiring FDA and USDA compliance.
This advanced product uses oil filled polymers to lubricate mating surfaces with a dynamic coefficient of friction formula of less than 0.14. With Tivar® Oil Filled, conveyors operate more effectively, without the effort and added expense of unnecessary lubrication. On Tivar® Oil Filled guides, sprockets and conveyor components, chains move easily with less tension, stretching or binding.
Tivar® Oil Filled comes in either a dark brown or gray color and is available in 48" x 120" sheets with gauge sizes ranging from 1/8" to 2". It is also manufactured in rod, molded parts and some profiles.

TIVAR® SuperPlus - Glass Filled, Cross-linked & Heat Stabilized, Extreme Wear Resistant UHMW-PE
TIVAR® SuperPlus is formulated to reflect higher intrinsic viscosity or speed and molecular weight. It can perform in high temperature applications to 225º F without degradation. SuperPlus's thermal expansion is also up to 25% below other TIVAR® formulations.

Torlon® 4203 Rods - Torlon 4203 Sheets. Torlon polyamide-imide offers excellent compressive strength and the highest elongation of the Torlon® grades. It also provides electrical insulation and exceptional impact strength. This Torlon grade is commonly used for IC Test Sockets & Handlers, as well as, electrical connectors and insulators due to its high dielectric strength. Its ability to carry high loads over a broad temperature range makes it good for structural components such as linkages and seal rings. Torlon® 4203 is also an excellent choice for wear applications involving impact loading and abrasive wear. Torlon® 4203 is Stocked in our USA, Singapore & Taiwan warehouses.

Torlon ® 5030 is 30% glass-reinforced, PAI that is typically injection-molded, but can also be compression-molded, OR EXTRUDED into basic shapes. It is ideal for higher load structural or electronic applications. Professional Plastics offers basic shapes on this page as EXTRUDED from Torlon 5030 Resin. Extruded Torlon 5030 offers the lowest CLTE (just 0.90 x 10-5) in a unidirectional pattern along the extrusion direction due to the natural alignment of the glass-fibers during the extrusion process. If a greater multi-directional stability is required, consider Torlon 5530 (compression-molded). Due to the random disbursement of the glass-fibers during the compression-molding process, Torlon 5530 provides greater multidirectional stability, yet less unidirectional stability.

The most cost-effective production method, but offering the least performance, is Injection-Molding. UltraPro™ 4.2
UltraPro™ 4.2 Proprietary Ultra Wear-Resistant UHMW is made from the highest molecular weight polyethylene that is consistently available. In accordance with ASTM D-4020/92, the requirements for a product to be classified as "true UHMW" must be 3.1 million or greater. While 3.1 million or greater meets the industry standard density for UHMW, UltraPro 4.2 exceeds this standard with an industry-leading density of 4.2 million or greater. Enhanced performance characteristics are directly related to molecular weight, so when comparing the abrasion resistance, the higher molecular weight (I.V. Intrinsic Viscosity) translates to greater wear life, and proven superior wear resistant properties.
