Mar-Con® AS Acrylic is a mar resistant/antistatic Dual-Coat™ glazing for framing art, memorabilia, photographs, and documents, and for fabrication of shadow box assemblies, museum cases and displays. It is a premium optical quality acrylic sheet coated with two, cured high performance, permanent, non-contaminating coatings developed by SciCron Technologies. The front side is coated with Mar-Con® mar resistant coating, and the back side with an antistatic coating. This combination yields a glazing product with excellent resistance to marring and scratching on the front side and virtually no static charge generation on the back side. Mar-Con AS Acrylic is a superior framing glazing that exhibits excellent optical properties, shatter resistance, and chemical resistance. It fabricates simply, weighs less than half the weight of glass of the same thickness, and is available in large sheet sizes.

Boltaron® 1165/1165C FR PVC/Acrylic
Boltaron® 1165/1165C is a proprietary, fire retardant PVC/Acrylic sheet that is favorably priced against competitive general purpose, fire rated sheet. It is extruded using select resin, trim and regrind of high performance Boltaron sheet. As a result, it exhibits qualities that meet or exceed many general thermoforming and fabrication requirements, such as Izod impact resistance of 10 ft. lbs./in. (530 J/m), broad chemical resistance, extreme abrasion resistance and a UL 94 V-0 fire rating, while reducing cost.
Offered in black and dark gray colors in six surface textures, the sheet is offered in lengths to 120 in. (3048 mm), widths to 60 in. (1524 mm), thicknesses from .040 to .250 in. (1.02 to 6.35 mm) and in custom blank sizes. Boltaron 1165/1165C is readily thermoformed, yielding uniform wall thickness in deep recesses and sharp outside corners. It is also readily sawn, drilled, tapped, routed and otherwise machined using conventional tools, and can be brake formed (thinner gauges), heat welded, adhesive bonded and mechanically fastened, allowing rapid fabrication of a broad range of high-integrity parts and assemblies.

Varglas A397 & 343 Acrylic Sleeve (Gr F 155°C)
Varglas A397 and 343 Acrylic Sleevings (Grade F 155°C) are produced by curing a modified acrylic resin on a continuous fiberglass braid, with A397 Acrylic best characterized by its flexibility. Both are resistant to most acids, organic solvents, oils and water and exhibit fair resistance to alkalies. They are compatible with modified polyester, acrylic, epoxy, phenolic and formvar wire enamels and are designed to perform for long periods in a 155°C range without loss of any electrical or physical properties.
Specifications
Both Varglas A397 and 343 Acrylic Sleevings conform to, and are listed on the Qualified Products List (QPL) for, MIL-l-3190/3, latest revision (Grade A); NEMA TF-l, Type 6; and ASTM- D372.Under the Component Program of Underwriters Laboratories, both Varglas A397 and 343 Acrylic Sleevings in Grade A are recognized for 155°C, 600 volt service under UL File #E63450. CSA International certifies the use of both sleevings in Grade A for 155°C, 600 volt service under CSA File #LR58486. They also are recognized in systems work, per UL Safety Standard 1446, to facilitate product acceptance by UL. Additionally, Grade C-3 Acrylic complies with ULâÇ™s VW-l flammability requirements under UL File #E53690.
Applications
Varglas A397 and 343 Acrylic Sleevings are used to insulate leads and crossovers in fractional and integral horsepower motors. They also are used in dry and oil-filled transformers, generators and other moisture-sensitive equipment, as well as in home appliances, lighting fixtures, instrument circuits and controls. Additional uses include switchgear, breaker panels, welding equipment and other commercial apparatus subjected to continuous operating temperatures of 155°C, particularly those requiring insulation system compatibility.

Manufactured using a cell cast process, there is no finer acrylic sheet to meet your strigent optical requirements. Each sheet is inspected and thickness tolerances are checked on a sheet-by-sheet basis to insure the material will provide the required protection. Identifying tapes are placed at one-foot intervals, indicating the material to be a UL listed bullet resistant product.
For demanding applications where frequent handling, heavy traffic and regular cleaning are commonplace, ask for ACRYLITE® BR GAR acrylic sheet or ACRYLITE® Securus™ GAR acrylic sheet which offers an abrasion resistant coating on both sides.

Acrylite® RinkShield™ acrylic sheet
ACRYLITE® RinkShield™ acrylic sheet is the new standard in spectator shielding. The only acrylic engineered to meet ASTM and NHL regulations, RinkShield sheet holds up to puck and player impacts, provides greater flexibility than tempered glass, clearer viewing for fans and easier, quicker changeover operations for facilities.
RinkShield outperforms NHL deflection benchmarks for spectator shielding. A three-fold reduction in reaction forces over tempered glass significantly reduces the effect of impact on players and the possibility of injury. This is just one reason why arenas are making the switch from seamless glass to acrylic shielding systems.

Aerospace Grade Products
Below is an overview of our aerospace grade acrylic sheet.
- POLY A (ASTM D-4802) is our standard unshrunk acrylic manufactured to a visual and optical aircraft specification. It is available in clear as well as transparent colors. Common applications are non-critical glazing for commercial helicopters and sport planes.
- POLY FR9 is an interior acrylic material ideal for aircraft applications where low flame spread and low smoke generation are desirable.
- POLY 900 is a semi-cross-linked material formulated to meet British specifications DTD-5592.
- POLY II (MIL-P-5425) military specification covering heat-resistant, preshrunk, clear, and colored acrylic sheet. Acrylite® GP P95 Patterned Sheet
Acrylite® GP P95 (aka Acrylic P95) is patterned on one side of the sheet. This added texture provides decorative effects and diffuses annoying surface reflections. The matte finish is available on one side only. Professional Plastics preferred brand is Acrylite® P95. ACRYLITE GP P-95 sheet offers transparent clarity when in direct contact with objects. Ideal for signs and displays, its one-sided matte finish reduces reflected light. This cell cast sheet comes in colorless, translucent, and custom colors. This products is also available in "Black/White" Acrylite GP P-95 which appears dark by day and, with a little backlighting, it glows white at night. This GP P-95 is manufactured from a special pigment formulation that yields 10-19% light transmittance when backlit, but appears dark and opaque without backlighting.
