Ketron® HPV - Bearing Grade PEEK
Bearing grade Ketron® HPV PEEK has excellent wear resistance in addition to the lowest coefficient of friction and the best machining characteristics of the filled PEEK stock shapes.
The addition of carbon fibers, PTFE and graphite to virgin PEEK results in a Ketron PEEK "Bearing Grade".
Its excellent tribological properties (low friction, long wear and high Pressure-Velocity capabilities) make this grade especially suited for bearing and wear applications.

Ketron® PEEK
Ketron® PEEK 1000 (Virgin, Unfilled PEEK) offers chemical and hydrolysis resistance similar to PPS, but can operate at higher temperatures. Virgin PEEK material offers steam and wear resistance, and can be used continuously to 480°F (250°C) and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties. For hostile environments, PEEK is a high strength alternative to fluoropolymers. PEEK carries a UL 94 V-O flammability rating and exhibits very low smoke and toxic gas emission when exposed to flame. Ketron® PEEK 1000 is a Virgin, Unfilled PolyetherEtherKetone). This general purpose grade is unreinforced and offers the highest elongation and toughness of all PEEK grades. The newly available black PEEK 1000 is ideal for instrument components where aesthetics are important, as well as for seal components where ductility and inertness are important.

Kydex® 150 is a proprietary thermoplastic alloy sheet that is used for laminating and thermoforming applications requiring a Class I/A building code. The Class I/A building code is rated up to and including 1.52mm (0.060") and Class II/B building codes up to and including 2.36mm (0.093") and is Underwriter's Laboratories, Inc® listed.

Kydex® T Sheet
Kydex® T is a proprietary acrylic/PVC thermoplastic sheet that is cost competitive with fire retardant ABS/PVC (FR-ABS) formulations but with significantly higher impact strength and extensibility. Unlike FR-ABS, Kydex® T is less hygroscopic, and typically does not require pre-drying. This outstanding material offers superior impact resistance (800J/m), more uniform forming with less wall thinning and offers significantly greater resistance to a broad range of corrosive chemicals and cleaning solutions.
- P-3 (Velour Matte Texture) will be the Standard Stock Finish of Kydex T Sheet. (other textures available with Minimum Order Quantity)

Kynar® KYNStick® Tape with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive
KYNStick® Tape is made with Kynar® film with an Acrylic Pressure Sensitive Adhesive for ease of application, positioning and fastening. KYNStick® Tape offers excellent chemical and corrosion resistance and has a high tensile strength. KYNStick® has good thermal stability and can be used in applications up to 300°F. Kynar® (PVDF) has extremely high purity which makes it a good candidate for food applications.
When specified, Kynar 740 FILM complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.510, USDA, USP XX Class VI, 3A sanitary standards and meets ASTM D3222 resin specifications. KYNStick® Tape also possesses high impact resistance and is tough and durable.
- Note: Although the FILM is FDA approved, the ADHESIVE backing in NOT
PVDF (Kynar ®) is strong and tough as reflected by its tensile properties and impact strength. Compared to many thermoplastics, PVDF (Kynar ®) has excellent resistance to creep and fatigue, yet in thin sections such as films, PVDF (Kynar ®) components are flexible and transparent. Kynar ® Film is stable to UV and the effects of weather. In cold, heat, sunlight and humidity Kynar® Film does not wear out or get brittle. Kynar® has low NBS smoke generation and superior LOI.

Low Density Polyethylene tubing joins the Linear Low Density version, giving customers a broader selection from which to choose. Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) tubing is used for air and pneumatic lines, fluid feeds, chemical transfer, wire jacketing, food and beverage processing, potable water systems, drains, pool and spa supply lines, and more.
We previously offered only the low density style of polyethylene, then switched to linear low density a few years ago due to its enhanced resistance to stress cracking. Although both types provide for repeated flexing with little or no signs or wear, only LDPE tubing is listed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF 51), an important consideration in many cases.
LDPE exhibits a high degree of inertness and forms a good barrier to gases, vapors, and moisture. It provides good dielectric properties and will not impart any taste or odor to fluids running through it. LDPE is manufactured from non-toxic, 100% virgin grade resins with ingredients that conform to FDA standards.
Durable LDPE is a lightweight tubing and is one of the lower cost plastic materials. Factory stock includes tubing in 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2" O.D. sizes in translucent natural color and in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" O.D.'s in opaque black. LDPE is considered a flexible yet semi-rigid product and therefore mates well with push-to-connect fittings available in acetal or brass. Custom colors, sizes, and shapes are offered as well.

LUMAsite® reinforced acrylic sheets and diffusers can be used for construction-related applications, including architectural and display lighting, partitions, translucent glazing panels, illuminated walls, window treatments, and sign backgrounds.
Shatterproof sheets cast from 100% acrylic or modified polyester resins. The superior toughness and rigidity of LUMAsite® sheets are the result of reinforcement by an immensely strong web of glass fibers. In sign and display whites and colors these fibers are not visible. In most architectural and designer panels the fibers are deliberately visible, lending a "silken cobweb" effect.
LUMAsite® panels retain their strength and color identity even when exposed long years to most severe outdoor conditions.

Excellent Tensile Strength and Elongation
Meldin® 2000 materials exhibit superior tensile strength and elongation properties, even at elevated temperatures, providing the mechanical integrity necessary for the most demanding applications.
Superior Creep Resistance
These materials all display minimal deformation under load. Meldin® 2030 provides additional ductility and conformability without sacrificing load carrying capacity when a sealing surface is required. These characteristics allow for dry-running bearing operation at high PVs and high-static loading without concern for deflection.
Balanced Electrical Properties
Both Meldin® 2001 and Meldin® 2030 have high dielectric strength, a stable dielectric constant, and very high volume and surface resistivity. Meldin® 2001, with its balance of physical and electrical properties, is ideal for stationary electrical insulating applications.

Nomex® Aramid Paper Sheets & Tubes - DuPont Nomex is a high-temperature resistant insulation product with an excellent balance of physical and electrical properties. Nomex is made entirely from synthetic aramid polymer in two forms: short fibers (floc) and microscopic fibrous binder particles (fibrids). Nomex has been widely adopted as electrical insulation for liquid and dry transformers, motors, and generators.
Nomex Type 410 is a calendered insulation paper which offers high inherent dielectric strength, mechanical toughness, flexibility and resilience. Type 410 is the original form of Nomex paper, and is widely used in a majority of electrical equipment applications. Available in 11 thicknesses (2 to 30 mils, or .05 to .76 mm), Type 410 is used in almost every known electrical sheet insulation application. Nomex 410, will maintain 300 V/mil (12 kV/mm) dielectric strength for several hours ar 400°C (750°F).
Nomex Type 411 (uncalendered) is available in thicknesses from 0.13mm to 0.58mm. Often used as soft cushioning material or when conformability and impregnability are of importance.
