Polyurethane sheets, rods and tubes are made of tough, crack-resistant, and abrasion-resistant polyurethane, which lasts significantly longer than conventional rubbers and plastics. We provide polyurethane in custom diameters, lengths, hardness, and colors with little or no tooling costs.

PP-1052 HD Pattern Plank
PP-1052 HD Pattern Plank is a polyurethane board that is designed for machining extremely durable and wear resistant foundry patterns, core boxes and other tools that require high wear and impact resistance. PP-1052 HD is a harder, more dense, rigid and less costly version of its predecessor PP-1052 Pattern Plank. This plank is a tough, cost effective alternative to metal. Its tough, high-impact resistant properties will produce dimensionally stable tools.
PP-1052 HD Pattern Plank Applications: Applications include prototype and low-volume to high volume foundry patterns, core boxes, match plates, gating and risering. Other uses include metal forming, hammer forming, stretch press dies, hemming bucks and hydroform tooling.
Sheet Sizes:Standard 16" x 60" sheets in 2", 3" and 4" thicknesses.

PP303 Composites
PP303 / PP303A / PP303B Composite Materials
PP303 is manufactured with meta-aramid textile and a high temperature vinyl ester resin. This high temperature resin
offers better chemical resistance and improved operating temperatures over our standard resin.
Enhancement A and enhancement B are optional additives that increase the overall strength and reduce friction and
wear. Enhancement B is specified when stick-slip or noise may be anticipated.

PTFE - 25% Glass-Filled
PTFE Glass-Filled - Milled glass fibers have the least effect on chemical and electrical properties and add greatly to the mechanical properties of unfilled PTFE. Addition of glass improves compressive properties by as much as 40% and improves wear resistance greatly. These compounds resist acids and oxidation but can be attacked by alkali.
PTFE with 25% glass fibers for increased stability is supplied in sheets, rods & tubes.

PTFE - Carbon-Filled
Carbon-Filled PTFE was developed for its mechanical properties. The two basic materials used in these compounds, by themselves, are very questionable.
PTFE has good frictional properties including low wear rates and good elasticity. The carbon filler is brittle and has low wear properties. Both fail at high loads and increased
velocities. When both elements are formulated and properly blended together, they become an
extremely good material for use as seals and rings in the reciprocating compressor industry.
The properties increase several hundred times. Wear resistance is changed dramatically
compared to Virgin PTFE. The type and percentage of carbon is critical to material
performance. Carbon filled has a higher percentage of filler than any other PTFE blend.
Therefore the two materials must be similiar in size to prevent voids in the molded billet. For
optimum wear properties, the filler percentage is also important. Lower percentages are
easier to machine but do not perform as well in service. AVA56 PTFE material, is designed
for optimum wear properties in all suitable applications.
The molding cycle is also important to provide proper pysical properties. At higher molding
pressures the material has higher density and more filler is required. Not all carbon filled
PTFE is of the same quality.

Etched PTFE
PTFE is an amazing non-stick material, but what about when you need to glue it to the suface of another material ? In order to bond standard PTFE to another surface such as stainless steel, a process called "etching" is required. Typical applications would include the lining of chemical process tanks or other equipment used in caustic environments. When bonding is needed, sodium ammonia etching is usually the most economical answer. This process uses of a mixture of sodium and ammonia that is formulated to create a bondable surface both quickly and efficiently. Sodium/ammonia etching service complies with all applicable commercial, military & federal specifications for the surface treatment of all fluoropolymers including: PTFE, PFA, FEP, ETFE, PCTFE, PVDF, PVF, & ECTFE.
From microchips to full size rolls, fluoropolymers of any shape or complexity, including tape, sheet, tubing, molded shapes & machined parts of any configuration can be etched & bonded. This treatment can be accomplished on one or more surfaces, or selectively within close tolerances.
- Note: Etched surfaces will discolor to a brown appearance.

PVC is the most widely used member of the vinyl family. Common applications include chemical processing tanks, valves, fittings & piping systems. PVC Sheets, Rods & Tubes offer excellent corrosion and weather resistance. PVC Sheet and PVC Rod have a high strength-to-weight ratio and is a good electrical and thermal insulator. PVC is also self-extinguishing per UL flammability tests. PVC may be used to temperatures of 140°F (60°C). Available in rigid PVC Sheets, Rods, and Tube.

PVDF - Extruded Rods & Plates
PVDF (aka Kynar®, Solef®, Symalit®) is one of the most stable and pure of all commercial plastics. This highly chemically resistant fluoropolymer is used in piping, tubing, vessel fabrication, molded valves and fittings, tower packing, nozzles and other items for corrosive fluid handling. Its inherent chemical resistance and high purity make PVDF ideal for application in contact with high purity water, acids, chlorine, halogenated solvents and petrochemical mixtures. The natural flame retardancy and flexibility of PVDF leads to many uses in the jacketing of fiber optic cables, fiber optic raceways and copper cable used in plenum areas of buildings. PVDF is FDA compliant, absolutely non-toxic and can be used in repeated contact with food products. Its surface, like glass, is unfavorable to the proliferation of microorganisms.

Silicone Rubber Sheeting (Sponge Rubber)
Silicone sponge rubber materials are excellent materials for gasketing and padding applications that require a soft, compressible material. The closed and partially-open cells of these sponges prevent water absorption. These materials also provide the ozone, weather and UV resistance typical of silicone.

Tivar® Anti Static UHMW
Tivar® 1000 ESd AntiStat UHMW is an ideal material to use when potentially volatile conditions exist, such as those in grain elevators and munitions plants, effectively safeguarding against static discharges. In addition, it resists heat and protects robotics and other products that are sensitive to dust accumulation and electrical charge buildup. With a surface resistivity range of 10 5 to 10 9 (ohms/cm2) TIVAR® AntiStatic handles tough conditions where dust and static electricity can cause problems. Black TIVAR® AntiStatic is available in two standard sheet sizes: 48" x 120" sheets with gauge sizes ranging from 1/16" to 6"; 60" x 120" sheets with gauge sizes ranging from 3/8" to 1". Tivar® 88 is noted for its performance in promoting bulk solids flow of cohesive or non-free flowing materials due to its low surface friction. TIVAR® 88 liners are the perfect solution when you need to reduce or eliminate arching, ratholing, and erratic material flow challenges in bins, bunkers, hoppers and chutes, railcars, etc.
Although every application is unique, some have specific environmental challenges. MCAM-Quadrant has developed several proprietary formulation packages for TIVAR® 88 that enhance certain properties without negatively impacting TIVAR® 88's key properties.

Tivar® H.O.T.
Tivar® H.O.T. (High Operating Temperature) is formulated to maintain key performance properties in an extended temperature range, Tivar® H.O.T.* will excel in a variety of industrial manufacturing environments where temperatures range up to 275° F, nearly 100° higher than competing UHMW-PE formulations. Tivar® H.O.T. reduces the oxidization rate of the material at higher temperatures thereby slowing material degradation and extending wear-life in chemical, elevated temperature and thermo-cycling environments.
- In many applications, Tivar® H.O.T. will last up to 10 times longer in higher temperature environments & has excellent wear & release characteristics
TIivar® H.O.T. is also a great material for use in conveyor systems or other equipment that is frequently exposed to chemical washdowns in such industries as poultry/meat processing and packaging. It can be also be used in applications ranging from wearstrips for spiral conveyors in the baking industry to drag conveyor flights for moving bulk materials (corn) in grain elevators, or wearstrips for conveyor dryers in drying and dehydrating systems.
TIivar® H.O.T. is Brite White and available in the following standard sizes: 48" x 120" (1220mm x 3050mm) sheets with gauges ranging from 1/16" (1.5mm) to 6.0" (152mm) and 48" x 240" sheets with gauges ranging from 3/4" to 3". Other sizes are available on request. It can also be extruded in a variety of standard and custom profiles. Extruded Rods sizes typically have a Minimum Order Quantity.
