Torlon® 4XCF(Extruded) (also known as Torlon 7130) is 30% carbon fiber-reinforced. It offers exceptional stiffness, nonabrasive wear performance and the lowest coefficient of thermal expansion MCAM-Quadrant materials. Torlon is the highest performing, melt processable plastic. It has superior resistance to elevated
temperatures. It is capable of performing under severe stress conditions at continuous temperatures to 500°F (260°C). Parts machined from Torlon stock shapes provide greater compressive strength and higher impact resistance than most advanced engineering plastics Torlon PAI's extremely
low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and high creep resistance deliver excellent dimensional stability over its entire service range. Torlon is an amorphous material with a Tg (glass transition temperature) of 537°F (280°C). Torlon stock shapes are post-cured using procedures developed jointly by BP Amoco and MCAM-Quadrant. This eliminates the need for additional curing by the end user in most situations.

Trim Fluid - ESd Coating Liquid
ESd Trim Fluid - Static Dissipative Coating Liquid
ESd Trim Fluid™ is a general purpose, solvent based, static dissipative coating liquid which can be used on a variety of plastic substrate materials to make the surface of the plastic electro-conductive in the static dissipative range of surface resistivities.
It is normally used as a touch-up coating on cut edges and machined surfaces of static dissipative sheet products. This touch-up coating prevents static charge build-up on these edges and surfaces and it provides electrical continuity across the cut or machined area. It can also provide continuity from front to back surfaces of a sheet product by forming an electro-conductive bridge across the edge of the sheet.
Trim Fluid is also used on glue lines in items fabricated from ESd sheets to provide electrical continuity across the glued joints.

Trogamid® T5000
Trogamid® high-performance compounds are distinguished by their permanent transparency and high chemical resistance. Trogamid® T grades comprise the amorphous products based on polyamide 6-3-T and are characterized by their high resistance to dynamic loads. This high resistance to dynamic loads Trogamid® T5000 has proven for many years in the applications of water treatment and filter technology.
In addition to the physical properties, it is also essential that Trogamid® compounds coming into contact with drinking water and food are toxicologically harmless. For example, the compounds meet the requirements for the German KTW approval, an important part of the DVGW certificate (German Association of Gas and Water). Only approved parts are used in drinking water supply systems.
The special properties of Trogamid® T have made it useful in many branches of industry:

Varglas ES-4400 Silicone Rubber Sleeve (R 220° C)
Varglas ES-4400 Silicone Rubber Sleeving is produced by curing a specially compounded silicone gum with a select catalyst on a continuous length of fiberglass braid. Most silicone rubber is characterized, chiefly, by its capability of performing satisfactorily at elevated temperatures. Varglas ES-4400 Silicone Rubber, in addition to providing superior dielectric and thermal protection, at less weight, was developed to meet unusual fluid and flame resistance requirements. Its high temperature performance places it in a 220°C classification.
Specifications:
Varglas ES-4400 Silicone Rubber Sleeving conforms to, and is listed on the Qualified Products List (QPL) for, MIL-l-3190/8, latest revision (Grade A). It also exceeds the requirements of NEMA TF-1, Type 5; and ASTM-D372.
Under the Component Program of Underwriters Laboratories, Grade A Varglas ES-4400 Silicone Rubber is recognized for 200°C, 600 volt service and complies with VW-1 flammability requirements under UL File #E63450. (VW-1 compliance of Grades B through C-1 is covered under UL File #E53690.) CSA International certified the use of Grade A for 200°C, 600 volt service and flammability requirements under CSA File #LR58486 VW-1/FT1. Varglas ES-4400 is incorporated in systems work, per UL Safety Standard 1446, to facilitate product acceptance by UL.

Vesconite (standard Vesconite - Black) is a specialized thermoplastic made from internally lubricated polymers. Proved since the 1960's as an exceptional bearing material in demanding conditions, Vesconite gives low wear even in dirty or unlubricated conditions. Up to 10 times the life of bronze in dirty conditions. Vesconite has high dimensional stability and does not swell in water, in contrast to most synthetic materials which swell in water. For example, nylon swells up to 3% in water and softens.
