Titanio
DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL de titanio
El titanio es absolutamente inmune a los ataques ambientales, independientemente de los contaminantes. Mientras que otros metales tienen una vida útil limitada, el titanio perdura. La gravedad específica del titanio es de 4,51 g/cm3, aproximadamente el 60% de la del acero, la mitad de la del cobre y 1,7 veces la del aluminio. Además de tener una excelente resistencia mecánica (comparable al acero dulce), el titanio es duradero y resistente a los golpes. Ti Grados 1-4 son Ti puro. El Ti puro se utiliza debido a su alta resistencia a la corrosión y aleado debido a su alta relación resistencia-peso.

Grado 3 : alta resistencia, utilizado para placas Matrix en intercambiadores de calor de carcasa y tubos.
Grado 4 : titanio puro sin alear de mayor resistencia. Excelente resistencia a la corrosión, buena conformabilidad y soldabilidad. Utilizado en tuberías hidráulicas y de instrumentación. Excelente resistencia a la corrosión. Se utiliza para piezas que requieren resistencia de hasta 400 °F y resistencia a la oxidación de hasta 600 °F. Aplicaciones: equipos de procesos químicos, fuelles, estructuras de aeronaves, nido de abeja, juntas, revestimiento de aeronaves, piezas de intercambiadores de calor.
Grado 5 (titanio Ti-6Al-4V) : aleación de Ti más común. Alta resistencia y alta resistencia al calor. Aeroespacial y Oil & Gas, palas, discos, anillos, estructuras de aviones, sujetadores, componentes. Recipientes, cajas, bujes, forjas. Implantes biomédicos.
Grado 7 : resistencia superior a la corrosión en ambientes reductores y oxidantes. (Industria química)

For any content that you submit, you grant Professional Plastics a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and/or distribute such content and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you.
