    • Cast Acrylic is highly regarded for its optical clarity and outstanding light transmission properties. These Cast Acrylic Tubes are used in many applications in place of extruded or molded Acrylic because of better machining properties, greater clarity, better resistance to heat distortion and higher tensile strength.
    • Phenolic laminated tubes are typically rolled over a mandrel to produce custom-wall thicknesses in various thermoset materials. Tubes can also be produced in pultruded fiberglass shapes & wound epoxy-glass tubes & profiles.

    • G-11 Glass Epoxy Tubes are produced from high-temperature, laminated, glass-cloth and epoxy resin. This resulting product has high mechanical strength at temperatures up to 150°C, is self extinguishing, and retains 50% of its flexural strength at elevated temperatures. To manufacture G-11 laminated tubes, epoxy saturated glass cloth is rolled over a mandrel and cured. These tubes do not meet the Mil-I-24768/3, but they are made from the same base ingredients.
    • Delrin® tubes (acetal homopolymer) have many of the same characteristics of industrial metals such as brass, aluminum, zinc, and stainless steel. Some of Delrin's comparable properties include stiffness, dimensional stability, impact resistance, and structural strength. Delrin 150 natural, standard general purpose, unfilled acetal has the best impact toughness of all unfilled Delrin® formulations. This is the standard grade as supplied on this page.

    • PTFE is renowned for its temperature resistance and slick, non-stick qualities. As an industrial material, PTFE has exceptional chemical resistance, high and low temperature durability, low coefficient of friction and superb insulating qualities. It lacks toughness for abrasive applications, however, and is not readily fastened together using adhesives unless the surface is "etched" to accept the bonding agent. PTFE properties can be improved with the addition of fillers such as glass fiber and carbon.

    • Molded Polyurethane Tubes are made of tough, crack-resistant, and abrasion-resistant polyurethane, which lasts significantly longer than conventional rubbers and plastics. We provide polyurethane in custom diameters, lengths, hardness, and colors with little or no tooling costs.
    • Acetal Tubes - Acetal Copolymer Tubes provide high strength and stiffness coupled with enhanced dimensional stability and ease of machining. As a semi-crystalline material, acetal is also characterized by a low coefficient of friction and good wear properties especially in wet environments. Because of its high strength, modulus, and resistance to impact and fatigue, Acetal copolymer tubes are used as a weight-saving metal replacement. Acetal copolymer overcomes the common problem of centerline porosity in large shapes of Acetal Homopolymer (aka Delrin)
    • Acetal Copolymer is preferred to Delrin (DuPont brand Acetal Homopolymer) where centerline porosity is a concern.
    • Acetal copolymer is produced under several brand names including Celcon, Ultraform & Acetron.
    • Paper Phenolic is manufactured from high strength paper bonded with a phenolic resin. The resulting material is a tough laminate with a high impact resistance, excellent tensile, compressive and flexural strengths.

    • PEEK Tubes & Rings - Compression Molded PEEK Tubes are available from Professional Plastics offers a variety of sizes. PEEK Products include large compression molded tubes and rings, as well as, extruded small diameter PEEK tubing. Professional Plastics supplies a full-range of sizes from compression-molded and injection-molded rings, up to massive Compression-Molded tubes up to 16" O.D.

      PEEK Tubes have a maximum service temperature of 500°F (260°C) and offers excellent abrasion and wear resistance. PEEK tubes are also USP Class VI compliant, have excellent chemical resistance and are radiation resistant. Add these characteristics to the fact that PEEK tubes offer a superior strength to weight ratio and it becomes apparent why this product has continued to grow in demand over the last few years.
    • Tubes & Rings are sold in Standard (Virgin Grade - Unfilled), Glass-Filled (typically 30% glass fibre), as well as, Carbon-Filled (typically 30% Carbon Fiber)
    • PEEK Tubes & Rings utilize either Victrex 450G or Vestakeep 4000G base resin.
    • G-10/FR-4 (G10) is a thermosetting industrial laminate consisting of a continuous filament glass cloth material with an epoxy resin binder. It has characteristics of high strength, excellent electrical properties and chemical resistance not only at room temperature but also under humid or moist conditions. G-10/FR4 epoxy laminate tubes are typically rolled over a mandrel to produce custom-wall thicknesses.
    • G-10/FR-4 sheets meet the specifications of Mil-I-24768/27
    • G-10/FR-4 also meet LP 509 & MIL P 18177 Type GEE
    • Nylon® - Cast, MD Filled is a dry lubricant-filled bearing material. Manufactured to be a more crystalline product with improved wear resistance, Nylon® - Cast, MD Filled also offers improved compressive strength. Cast Nylon MD tubes contains finely divided particles of molybdenum disulfide to enhance its load bearing capabilities while maintaining the impact resistance inherent to nylon. It is the most commonly used grade for gears, sheaves, sprockets and custom parts.
    • Cast Nylon MD Tubes are Gray-Black in Color.
    • Clear Extruded Acrylic Tubes (aka Plexiglass tubes) are sold in standard 6 ft lengths. Minimum order quantities may apply on certian sizes.     • CE Phenolic (Canvas Electrical Grade)Tubes are typically rolled over a mandrel to produce custom-wall thicknesses. These Phenolic Tubes exhibit good mechanical and impact strength with contiunuous operating temperature of 250°F. CE Canvas Phenolic is an excellent insulator and is used in various electrical and mechanical applications.
    • LE Phenolic (Linen Electrical Grade) laminated tubes are typically rolled over a mandrel to produce custom-wall thicknesses. Linen Phenolic Tubes (Grade LE) provide good mechanical & electrical strength.

    • ProtoPEEK KD2000-IM (proprietary PEEK polyetheretherketone) tubes are made via a custom two-stage process to provide complex geometries, fast cycle times, and economical production of high-volume parts.

      ProtoPEEK KD2000-IM tubes can be manufactured in sizes up to 5.25" OD. Inside Diameters range from 1.00" ID to 3.75" ID: in .250" increments. Wall sizes from .250" up to .750". Lengths are standard 6" long.

      ProtoPEEK KD2000-IM is a high performance engineering thermoplastic that offers chemical and water resistance similar to PPS, but can operate at higher temperatures. It can be used continuously to 480 F (250 C) and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties. For hostile environments, Our KD2000-IM is a high strength alternative to fluoropolymers. It carries a V-0 flammability rating and exhibits very low smoke and toxic gas emission when exposed to flame.
    • Available in both Virgin & Glass-Filled Grades
    • ProtoPEEK KD2000-CAM Tubes are produced from a proprietary Centrifugally Assisted Molding (CAM) technology that allows economical production of PEEK tubes in a wide range of diameters and wall thicknesses. The CAM process provides users with high quality tubes that are near net to their required dimensions, low stress, and defect free.

    • Grade C Canvas Phenolic Tubes are typically rolled over a mandrel to produce custom-wall thicknesses. Phenolic Canvas Grade C is a machining grade designed for structural and mechanical applications. This laminated product utilizes a canvas base and phenolic resin binder. Grade C & CE Canvas phenolics are made from a medium weave cotton cloth fabric and mixed with phenolic resins to provide good wear resistance, low moisture absorption, and good mechanical strength at economical cost.

      Canvas-based phenolics are used for structural supports, piston rings, gears, spacers, and bearing surfaces.
    • EXTREN is a proprietary combination of fiberglass reinforcements and thermosetting polyester or vinyl ester resin systems. It is produced in more than 100 standard shapes and all shapes have a surface veil to protect against glass fibers penetrating the resin surface in service and to enhance resistance to corrosion and UV radiation.
