OVERVIEW
ECOGEHR® - Industrial Semifinished Products made from Bio-Polymers

ECOGEHR® PLA grades are Bio-Polymer based on renewable raw material for industrial applications.
Produced in Extruded Rods and Sheets from the following ECOGEHR® materials on demand as customized production: ECOGEHR PLA-materials are based on polylactic acid. Therefore, they are thermoplastics based on renewable raw materials, environmentally safe and carbon neutral. They are biodegradable, methods of waste disposal are either composting or incineration.

ECOGEHR® PLA-N
Linear aliphatic thermoplastic polyester. Good mechanical properties similar to polystyrene. High stiffness and a modulus of elasticity up to 3440 MPa. Good chemical resistance against polar substances. Physiologically indifferent. Good thermal insulation.
ECOGEHR® PLA-L
Blend of polylactic acid, some lignin, fatty acid and wax. Good mechanical properties similar to ABS. High stiffness and a modulus of elasticity up to 2770 MPa. Good impact strength, also at low temperatures to -30°C. Good chemical resistance against polar substances. Physiologically indifferent. Good thermal insulation.
ECOGEHR® PLA-V
High toughness. Good thermal insulation. Physiologically indifferent. Elasticity adjustable.
ECOGEHR® PLA-WF
Composite based on polylactic acid and wood fibres. High mechanical strength, due to the excellent bond of the wood fibres to the polymer and the polymers to each other. Good thermal insulation.

Cellulose-based materials:
  • ECOGEHR® C-L
    ECOGEHR C-L is a blend of lignin and its derivates, fibers based on ligno cellulose and naturally resin. The material is made out of 100 % renewable material and is deposed of by composting or by incineration.

    Polyamides:
  • ECOGEHR® PA 6.10
    ECOGEHR PA 6.10 (polyamide) is based upon 60 % of a renewable resource, sebacic acid, which is extracted from castor beans. ECOGEHR PA 6.10 combines a low specific gravity with a high impact strength at low temperatures. It shows a good dimensional stability due to low humidity absorption. With these properties, ECOGEHR PA 6.10 is an adequate material even for applications, where the standard PA 6 meets its limits.

    Wood-Plastic-Composites WPC:
    ECOGEHR WPC-materials are composites based on standard polymers and wood fibres. Due to the excelent bond of the wood fibres to the polymer, the materials have a high mechanical strength. Parts in durable technical applications are possible with ECOGEHR WPC. Suitable for open air applications. Antibacterial grade available. Processability is similar to wood.
