    • DELRIN® Sheets and Delrin Rods have many of the same characteristics of industrial metals such as brass, aluminum, zinc, and stainless steel. Delrin is a homopolymer acetal (POM). Some of Delrin's comparable properties include stiffness, dimensional stability, impact resistance, and structural strength. Delrin® 150 is standard general purpose, unfilled acetal. This grade has the best impact toughness of all unfilled Delrin products. Delrin® 150 SA was discontinued in 2003 & replaced by Delrin 150.

    • Ertalyte® TX for machining high-wear-resistant parts is an unreinforced semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester (PET-P) that has a solid lubricant filler. The material has excellent performance in both high-pressure and high-velocity conditions, and is ideally suited for applications involving soft metal and plastic mating surfaces.

      Key properties of Ertalyte TX, are its high strength and stiffness, high wear-resistance, very good dimensional stability, high creep resistance and very good chemical resistance. This combination of properties make it an ideal material for machining bushings and bearings that require no startup or running lubrication. Ertalyte TX has FDA and USDA compliance and is ideal for applications in food packaging and processing equipment.     • MC® 907 - Food Grade Nylon
      Unmodified type 6 nylon offering the highest strength and hardness of the nylon 6 grades. MC 907 is monocast and is available in dozens of sizes in Tube, Rod, Bar, Plate & Sheet forms.
    • Polysulfone (PSU 1000) is an amorphous high performance polymer characterized by excellent thermal properties, good resistance to inorganic acids and bases, and outstanding hydrolytic stability against hot water and steam sterilization. Polysulfone's resistance to detergents and hydrocarbon oils is very good, even at elevated temperatures under moderate stress levels, and it complies with the National Sanitation Foundation's potable water standard up to 180°F.
    • TIVAR® CleanStat® can cut downtime and fine build-up in a variety of applications. It eliminates static build-up problems, meets FDA and USDA guidelines for food contact and exhibits a longer wearing, lower coefficient of friction sliding surface than stainless steel.

      TIVAR CleanStat can be easily fabricated into components and replacement parts that reduce noise levels in plants and require less frequent cleaning. Its welded design capabilities result in seamless welded components.

    • Kynar® 1000HD PVDF Homopolymer, Compression Molded & Extruded Shapes
      Manufactured from Kynar polyvinylidene fluoride resin. This material offers excellent corrosion and chemical resistance at both ambient and elevated temperatures. PVDF is also inherently UV stable, mechanically tough, abrasion and flame resistant. Kynar 1000HD is a whiter grade of PVDF than Kynar 740.

    • Kynar® KYNStick® Tape with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive
      KYNStick® Tape is made with Kynar® film with an Acrylic Pressure Sensitive Adhesive for ease of application, positioning and fastening. KYNStick® Tape offers excellent chemical and corrosion resistance and has a high tensile strength. KYNStick® has good thermal stability and can be used in applications up to 300°F. Kynar® (PVDF) has extremely high purity which makes it a good candidate for food applications.

      When specified, Kynar 740 FILM complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.510, USDA, USP XX Class VI, 3A sanitary standards and meets ASTM D3222 resin specifications. KYNStick® Tape also possesses high impact resistance and is tough and durable.

      PVDF (Kynar ®) is strong and tough as reflected by its tensile properties and impact strength. Compared to many thermoplastics, PVDF (Kynar ®) has excellent resistance to creep and fatigue, yet in thin sections such as films, PVDF (Kynar ®) components are flexible and transparent. Kynar ® Film is stable to UV and the effects of weather. In cold, heat, sunlight and humidity Kynar® Film does not wear out or get brittle. Kynar® has low NBS smoke generation and superior LOI.
    • Norprene® Pressure Tubing A-60-F I.B.
      Ideal for use in clean-in-place and steam-in-place cleaning and sterilization systems, Norprene® Pressure Tubing has excellent alkali resistance and is compatible with numerous oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite and ozone. Norprene® Pressure Tubing fully complies with FDA 177.2600 criteria, 3A Sanitary Standards and NSF Standard 51, which are applicable to many food contact applications.

      Norprene® Pressure Tubing exhibits excellent resistance to ozone and UV light, with little or no signs of deterioration in laboratory testing equivalent to 10 years of outdoor exposure. Norprene® Pressure Tubing provides long service life when exposed to heat, abrasion and pressure. It is temperature resistant up to 275°F and retains flexibility to -60°F.
    • NYLOIL-FG is a self lubricating nylon bearing material which meets the provisions of FDA Regulations 21 CFR, Section 177.15 (and others) and USDA 3A Sanitary Standards 20-17 for direct contact with food. This is a particularly useful material where additional lubrication is not desirable because of cleanability, contamination, or other considerations.
    • Tivar® 1000 (natural) UHMW is a cost-effective solution for food handling problems, and meets FDA, USDA and 3-A Dairy guidelines for food processing and handling. Tivar® 1000 UHMW was developed by Poly Hi Solidur (now Quadrant EPP) is also available in custom colors compounded with FDA/USDA approved pigments, which meet FDA and USDA guidelines for food processing and handling.
      Tivar® 1000 UHMW comes in natural and custom colors, and is available in oversize sheets as well as three standard sheet sizes:
    • 48" x 96" sheets with gauge sizes ranging from 1/16" to 6"
    • 48" x 120" sheets with gauge sizes ranging from 1/16" to 6"
    • 60" x 120" with gauge sizes ranging from 3/8" to 1".

    • Tivar® H.O.T. (High Operating temperature) is formulated to maintain key performance properties in an extended temperature range, Tivar® H.O.T.* will excel in a variety of industrial manufacturing environments where temperatures range up to 275° F, nearly 100° higher than competing UHMW-PE formulations. Tivar® H.O.T. reduces the oxidization rate of the material at higher temperatures thereby slowing material degradation and extending wear-life in chemical, elevated temperature and thermo-cycling environments. In many applications, Tivar® H.O.T. will last up to 10 times longer in higher temperature environments and has excellent wear and release characteristics

      TIivar® H.O.T. is also a great material for use in conveyor systems or other equipment that is frequently exposed to chemical washdowns in such industries as poultry/meat processing and packaging. It can be also be used in applications ranging from wearstrips for spiral conveyors in the baking industry to drag conveyor flights for moving bulk materials (corn) in grain elevators, or wearstrips for conveyor dryers in drying and dehydrating systems.

      TIivar® H.O.T. is Brite White and available in the following standard sizes: 48" x 120" (1220mm x 3050mm) sheets with gauges ranging from 1/16" (1.5mm) to 6.0" (152mm) and 48" x 240" sheets with gauges ranging from 3/4" to 3". Other sizes are available on request. It can also be extruded in a variety of standard and custom profiles. Extruded Rods sizes typically have a Minimum Order Quantity.     • ABS - Machine Grade ABS - Engineering Grade Sheets & Rods. ABS has perhaps the best balance of properties when cost is a factor. It has good chemical & stress-resistance, as well as, a combination of toughness with rigidity & creep resistance.

      Engineering Grade ABS is available in Rods & Sheets to customer specifications:
      ABS Rods are produced up to 6" diameter in standard 8 foot lengths (Prices Listed Per Foot).

      ABS Sheets / Plates are available in two types - Compression-Molded or Extruded:
    • Compression Molded Sheets are available up to 4" thick in 48" x 96"
    • Standard Thickness Tolerance of Compression-Molded Sheets is +/-10%.
      - PLUS ONLY Compression-Molded Sheets are available upon request at an additional cost.
    • Extruded Sheets are produced up to 24" x 48", and are sold upon special request only.
      - Note: Extruded Sheets have a better thickness tolerance than molded sheets. (also more expensive)
    • Acetal Sheets and Acetal Rods (aka POM) acetal copolymer provides high strength and stiffness coupled with enhanced dimensional stability and ease of machining. As a semi-crystalline material, acetal is also characterized by a low coefficient of friction and good wear properties especially in wet environments. Because of its high strength, modulus, and resistance to impact and fatigue, Acetal is used as a weight-saving metal replacement. Acetal copolymer overcomes the common problem of centerline porosity in large shapes of Acetal Homopolymer (aka Delrin)
      • Acetal Copolymer is preferred to Delrin® (Acetal Homopolymer) where centerline porosity is a concern.
      • Acetal Copolymer is produced under several brand names including Celcon®, Ultraform® & Acetron®.
    • Ertalyte® PET-P is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester characterized as having the best dimensional stability coupled with excellent wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction, high strength, and resistance to moderately acidic solutions. Ertalyte® is capable of sustaining high loads and enduring wear conditions. Ertalyte® PET-P offers good chemical and abrasion resistance. Its low moisture absorption enables mechanical and electrical properties to remain virtually unaffected by moisture.

      Also Consider Ertalyte TX - Ertalyte® TX is an internally lubricated version of PET-P, providing enhanced wear and inertness over general purpose nylons or acetals.

    • Norprene® A-60-F Food Process Tubing
      Formulated to withstand the high temperatures frequently occurring during food and beverage processing, Norprene® Food Process Tubing will outlast and outperform virtually all other food grade tubings. Even following extended exposure to heat and ozone, Norprene® Food Process Tubing will not crack or deteriorate as commonly found when using traditional rubber tubings.

      Extremely flexible, Norprene® Food Process Tubing resists kinks and retains its shape while installing quickly and easily. Its excellent flexural fatigue resistance makes it the absolute best choice for use in peristaltic pumps often found in dispensing equipment.

      Repeatedly autoclavable, Norprene® Food Process Tubing can be steam cleaned in place, eliminating the need for frequent tubing replacement. When harsh sanitizing solutions are used, it exhibits exceptional chemical resistance and is entirely unaffected by a wide variety of cleaning solutions.
