Sumika Super S1000 - New !!
Sumika Super S1000 is a wholly aromatic polyester material manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical of Japan. This high-performance material is capable of performing as a low-cost replacement to Vespel SP-1 in PolyBGA adapters used for testing integrated circuits.

  • Plates are sold in standard 3.93" x 3.93" up to 1.18" thickness
  • Rods are sold in standard 39" lengths up to 1.18" diameter and in disks 1.97" thick & up to 3.93" diameter.

  • Dimensionally stable
  • Meets UL94 V-0
  • Dielectric Constant (106Hz): 3.44 (per ASTM D-150)
  • Dielectric Loss Tangent(106Hz): 0.0151 (per ASTM D-150)
  • This product is targeted as a replacement for more expensive Vespel SP-1 sockets, rather than more economical Torlon sockets.
