Symalit® PVDF 1000 - FM4910
Symalit® PVDF (Kynar®) and PVDF Flex materials allow the use of FM4910 listed materials in the construction of semiconductor equipment, where protections against property damage and production interruption is critical. FM4910 listed materials from Symalit offer significant reduction in fire risks and virtually eliminate costly suppression systems.
Made from special Kynar® 740 resin.
This product was the first thermoplastic to meet the stringent ASTM E-84 test for non-combustibility.

Good mechanical strength, stiffness and creep resistance (better than other fluoropolymers)
Excellent chemical and hydrolysis resistance
High toughness, also at low temperatures
Good sliding properties and wear resistance
Good dimensional stability
Physiologically inert (suitable for food contact)
Good electrical insulating properties
Outstanding UV and weather resistance
Inherent low flammability
Fairly good resistance against high energy radiation
(much better than other fluoropolymers)
FDA, USDA, USP Class VI, 3A Dairy, UL94 V-0, FM 4910 compliant.
Good color consistency & excellent surface appearance
Applications: lining of reactors, lining of tanks, containers for chemicals, pulp and paper industries, semiconductor process equipment.
Meets ASTM-D-3222, Ty 1, Gr 2
