Polyurethane Tubing Polyurethane Tubing -
Ether 86A & Ester 85A Polyurethane tubing is available in ether and ester, both with optimum abrasion resistance, high tensile strength and low-temperature flexibility. Neither contain plasticizers, so migration is not a problem.
Ether (86A) is resistant to hydrolysis, fungus and weathering.
Ester (85A) types give maximum abrasion resistance and good oil, solvent and grease resistance. Both grades (Ether & Ester) meet FDA requirements.
For best results, use sleeved compression fittings with all thermoplastic tubing.
Features of Polyurethane Tubing:
Abrasion resistant
High tensile strength
Low temperature flexibility
Colors: Clear
Tubes above 2" OD are usually molded in short lengths (4 foot or less)
Small diameter tubing is extruded in longer coils (50 feet or more).
Coils Lengths:
100' up to 5/8" x 7/8" x 1/8" wall
50' 3/4" x 1 x 1/8" wall and larger.
Cut pieces, special lengths, durometers and colors on a custom basis.
