Lucite® L Cast Acrylic Sheet
Lucite® L is a cast acrylic sheet with a unique combination of high molecular weight and uniform thickness. Lucite® L cast acrylic sheet is lightweight and easily fabricated.
Light Transmission...
Clear, colorless Lucite® L cast acrylic sheet has a luminous transmittance of 92%. It is clearer than glass and will not yellow under normal exposure.
Weather Resistance...Lucite® L cast acrylic sheet will withstand exposure to blazing sun, extreme cold, sudden temperature changes, salt water spray, etc.
Lightweight...
Lucite® L cast acrylic sheet is light, having only half the weight of glass.
Rigidity...
Lucite® L cast acrylic sheet does not have the rigidity of glass or metals. However, it is more rigid than many other transparent plastics such as acetates, butyrates, polycarbonate, polyester, and SAN.
Strength and Stiffness...
Lucite® L cast acrylic sheet has a typical tensile strength of 10,300 psi and a typical stiffness of 535,000 psi at 73° F (23° C).

Lucite® L cast acrylic sheet is available in a wide variety of standard sheet sizes and thicknesses, and custom sheet sizes up to 108" x 168"
