Isoplast® 202 & 301
Isoplast® urethane resins are high tensile strength, chemically resistant resins originally developed for medical use. They are available in long glass fibre-filled grades. Isoplast® combines the toughness and dimensional stability of amorphous resins with the chemical resistance of crystaline materials. The long fibre reinforced grades are strong enough to replace some metals in load bearing applications.

Available in two grades: Isoplast 202 & Isoplast 301
Isoplast 202 is an opaque grade of Isoplast. It performs with superior impact and chemical resistance plus extraordinary mechanical properties.
Isoplast 202 is a highly dimensionally stable, extremely tough, chemical and temperature resistant material with good abrasion and lubricity. Isoplast 202 can be used for any mechanical application that has significant machining, but requires close tolerances. It can outwear many metals and be durable and tough in highly corrosive environments. Isoplast 202 can withstand chemicals with a PH range from 2 to 14.
Isoplast 301 is a clear grade of Isoplast. It combines excellent clarity (almost 90% light transmission) with broad range chemical resistance and outstanding practical toughness.
Isoplast 202 & 301 resins (tradename of Dow Chemical Co.) are sometimes extruded & sold under the brand name Hydex 202 & Hydex 301 by AL Hyde.
Professional Plastics offers premium Dow Isoplast shapes manufactured from the exact same resin as the Hydex material.
