GPO-1
GPO-1 is an economical general purpose NEMA GPO-1 laminate that performs well in applications where good electrical properties, good physical strength, and moderate heat resistance are required, but where higher flame is not. Grade GPO-1 is suitable for producing a variety of electrical insulating and support components including: barriers, mounting panels, brush holders, collars, wedges, and blocking used in rotating apparatus, dry-type transformers, and large switches. Grade GPO-1 laminate can function well in IEEE Class B operating temperatures. The standard color for GPO-1 is brown, and is molded in thicknesses of 1/32” through 2”.
