The move to lead-free electronic assembly in response to regulatory pressures in now underway on a worldwide basis.
Electronic assembly companies are now beginning to replace the conventional 63Sn/37Pb eutectic system with lead-free products. These products have a higher eutectic, which will affect the performance of the wave solder pallet. Durostone CLF 770 has been specifically developed with the lead-free process in mind.
